I installed two of these pumps in my 2005 Yamaha F225's trying to save money. It was a complete waist of time. The old ones I replaced were corroded and looked like they were about to go I was trying to be proactive. After installing the new pumps the engines would stall out after 5 minutes of run time. I had to pump the bulbs to keep them running. They claim the pump to be interchangeable with pump part number 69j-2441-02. That was not the case in my situation. There is a reason why they sell the pump for $60 and yamaha sells them for $500 plus. One works and one doesnt. Dont get fooled like I did. Just trying to save someone from the frustration this caused me.

Worthless! I promise you it won’t work more than a month. 30 day return policy is no good if you only run your boat once a mont. I put the pump in and ran it one day. Load up to fish the next time and the pump quit running before I left the dock. I pulled it out to test it and it was locked up.
