Perfect for camping. Lightweight, durable and quick. Silicone handle stays cool. And lid is tight enough to stay put while pouring.

Decent for the price, I wouldn't pay more than the current $19 as it is adequately thin gauge material. Mine came stamped 304 SUS, and is ever so slightly magnetic on the sides, so it is likely 304 Stainless Steel. This is important to those who choose to avoid aluminum due to some studies that correlate it with Alzheimers. Other than that I believe other reviewers were correct in that the handle cover is not silicone (just melty plastic), so one-star off for that. Everything else about this is good, I'm glad we have a 1L budget option that is of decent quality in Stainless Steel and the lid is wide enough to do a little bit of cooking if needed. It's a keeper for campers, probably not for the picky home-owner going for a quality kettle.

I love this little camping cattle. It’s awesome. I was able to put it on top of the fire and also use it on a camp stove. It boils about 2 cups at a time, which was perfect for me when drinking my coffee in the morning. And it was very compact and easy to pack up!

I like this little kettle and use it everyday. I initially bought it for camping, but haven't used it for that yet. I like the folding handle and the fact that you can take the whole lid off. It could even be used as a little pot since it would be easy to clean. It doesn't whistle but not sure if that's good or bad. Depends on the situation I guess.

The kettle works as intended but we cut off the “silicone” covering because it seemed like it was just plastic. My husband put it in the fire and it immediately melted so the listing is lying about the silicone handle. Just a note for anyone who plans to use this on an open fire.

Cleans up easy, holds 3 cups, very light, I’ve only used it with Soto cassette stove-works excellent. Value for the money is excellent. So far, has been perfect for me. Would have liked to have a bigger pot however, the stove heats water fast-boils in about 2 1/2 min. By the time it takes to boil water, put into food to rehydrate, boil again for coffee, it hasn’t been an issue. Ah, haven’t had a problem with any kind of “rust or oxidation”.
