Does the job
Works well! Fits my 2017 SV650 and my husbands DR650. We’ve gone on extended rides and had waayyy less butt pain. The cover is not rain proof, I think it’s more to keep it cool. It’s nice that it’s attached to the inside of the seat and pulls out, so it doesn’t get lost. I love that it will sit up on the tank a bit. I feel stable on it and can shift weight on seat easily.

Improves comfort while riding
First thing... yes, it does come with the rain cover. It is in the zipper pouch on the bottom, exactly as stated in the description. I saw reviews with people unable to find the rain cover when opening the box, because, duh, it isn't loose in the box, it is in the zipper. That said, I completely forgot that there was a rain cover available when I was camping and a rainstorm rolled in overnight. The cushion got completely soaked, but after a few hours in the sun, it dried out with no drama. It came through a little dirty from the wind kicking up dirt and the rain making it stick to the cushion, but again, not a big deal. It cleaned up fine. This cushion replaced an inflatable cushion with a bunch of air bladders, which also worked well until someone poked it with something sharp while the bike was parked. This cushion will not be susceptible to that failure point. The straps function much the same as my old cushion, but the gripper dots on the bottom seem to keep it from sliding around better than the air cushion. Last but not least, the cushion greatly improves comfort. Over the past few weekends, I've ridden all across east and south Texas, and been able to go for most of a tank of gas before feeling sore in the saddle. A few minutes of movement while stopping for gas, and I'm ready to go for another few hours.

It Works Really Well
I think I'm qualified to comment on this seat after finishing a ride from Bellingham WA (near Seattle) to Buffalo NY and back. The trip was about 3,000 miles each way. Going East I was riding on the stock seat of my Kawasaki 1600 Vulcan. I was averaging 400 to 500 miles per day, and needless to say I was bigly saddle sore when I rolled into Buffalo. My glutes, back and hamstrings took about a week to stretch out, even with some yoga practices thrown in. I was stopping every hundred miles or so to stretch and exercise, but within 30 minutes I would be fidgeting in my seat, alternating between the highway pegs and the floor boards, trying to keep on the road. I even did stretching exercises in the highway by bending over the fuel tank and straightening my legs to try and bring relief to my very sore posterior. The discomfort for the last 1000 miles was excruciating. So while I was in Buffalo I ordered this gel seat and attached it for the return trip. The installation and removal was very easy, you just slide the adjustable elastic straps fore and aft under your saddle. It didn't shift whatsoever if I ensured the straps were properly fitted. The seat also comes with a waterproof cover, stored in a zippered compartment on the bottom but I enjoyed dry, warm weather so I never used it. I imagine the honeycomb structure would trap moisture quite readily, I was lucky to not have to do any riding in the rain. The improvement in levels of comfort and range was nothing less than remarkable. The return ride probably should have been even more painful, my muscles didn't feel fully recovered by the time I departed. Nonetheless this gel seat made the trip home about 50% easier (I rated my levels of discomfort during and after each day on a scale of 1-10). I was still sore by days end, but when I got off my bike I wasn't walking like I had just undergone botched hip replacements. I would give this product 5 stars, but don't have other seats to compare it to, to say it's the "best" on the market. What I do know is for the price it was much cooler, I could ride longer, and my soreness at the end of the day was much less. I also didn't mind adding an inch to the the height of the saddle. If I had one complaint it would be that the area where your sit bones rest on the saddle could be a denser material. I'm 6 foot, 175 lbs and it felt like it was nearly compressed all the way down at that spot. A heavier rider may want to consider a denser material. For me, at that price, the seat was worth every penny.

Comfortable and durable
Purchase this for my streak glide. Used it on 1000 mile 17 hour trip. The ride was an absolute dream. No subtle sore at all. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Fit is terrible!
Absolute junk! Did not fit my seat and when you tighten it down it moves all around and doesn't stay in place! Cushion its self is not comfortable at all! Would not buy again or recommend! Going in trash! Why did you pick this product vs others?: Ease of installing but turned out to be awaful! Bought for my 2024 Kawasaki 450 eliminator and will not fit! Company contacted me to offer full refund. Comfort: Not Stability: not Sturdiness: not Ease of installation: ok but doesn't fit Functionality: Not Value for money: not, Company contacted me to offer full refund. Changed to three stars.

Love it!
Love this seat cover. Very comfy. The attached cover doesn't really fit within the zipper compartment, but works very well. The silver side is reflective and keeps you cool and dry while the black side draws heat and keeps you warmer when first mounting the saddle on winter. Holds firm and fits both my bikes very well.

I have ridden my motercyxle with it and without and there is huge difference. Now I can do longer rides with much more ease.

This is quite comfortable to sit on. I'm sure it will improve comfort when going over bumps and for long rides. With its UV cover this will be great on hot days to cover the seat and not have such a hot seat at the start of a ride. I'm excited to get this on the longer rides in the spring (November is not conducive to long rides). I'm happy with how this clasps and would recommend it.

Got this to relieve tailbone pressure. Doesn't work if you weigh north of 200 lbs. Goes completely flat. Returned.

I was going on a long motorcycle trip throught the States and thought it would be nice to have some extra padding on my 2003 Honda Goldwing. First, it arrived in a damaged box but fortuneately is didn't damage the seat pad. The protective cover that comes with the pad, which is hidden in the side zipper, would not stay in place and became a nuisance after awhile. The seat itself also became uncomfortable to the point I took it off the seat and used it as backrest up against my gear. When I got back home I returned the seat pad. At leat the return process was good, thanks to Amazon's return policies. Sorry but I would not recommend this product, at least for me.
