Great room heater
I purchased this for a room in the basement that gets colder in the winter than the rest of the house. It works great, very quiet, and it stays warm much more efficient than a forced air heater.

A Good Choice for a Cold Day
This is a nice compact, efficient, and easy to use oil-filled heater. It is slow to warm a room but that is expected from and oil-filled heater. Once the room begins to warm up, and the air circulates, it creates a comfortable environment as long as there are no drafts allowing your heat to escape. Fire risk appears to be minimal as long as the unit is in good condition and there are no frayed chords or damage. It would be best to plug this unit directly into the wall and not use power strips or extension cords. The remote is a nice touch and the commands are easy to understand and use. The front panel graphics are clean and minimal but I would like the front buttons to be more visible. The dark aesthetic is nice but you can't see the buttons in low light unless you have the remote handy. Overall a fine purchase at a good price point.

Highly Recommend
I bought this space heater one year ago and love it! It provides a quiet , reliable, gentle heat by the surging oil inside. It’s very safe and easily controlled. I’m using it in an unheated upstairs bedroom in the Northeast.I use the temp regulator and keep it at 68’. I’m so comfortable with it that I will be purchasing another one for my baby granddaughter’s room. And the electric bill doesn’t seem effected. Highly recommend.

Works Good, very modern design
Overall this is a good heater. It's extremely quiet and you can even turn off the display light which is great if your a light sleeper and sensitive to light and sounds. It heats a small room pretty well but it does take time. I like the setting options as well. The main reason for the 4 starts instead of 5 is because it sucks to move around. It has 1 indented handle and it's gets pretty hot, so when you go to move it around you have to carry it quickly so you don't burn yourself. Also it tilts when you carry it because theres not a handle on both sides. The other side is way too hot to touch so you can only carry it with one hand. It makes it very annoying to lift up and move around. Especially if you have stairs or any kind of lip, or elevated surface in your home.

Nice safe space heater and handy features
Know it takes a while to spread heat in the room, but after it gradually does, it maintains the heat nicely. You can set the timer to turn off automatically, and even set the the timer for a delayed start. Three settings 600, 900, 1500 watts. Outer elements are safe and not extremely hot to touch, so I feel okay for pets. Shuts off if it tilts or falls over. Looks nice and doesn't take up a lot of space. Quiet. Super easy to set up out of the box. Note it has a smell that is only on first use. Read the manual. I would buy again.

ECO Mode is USELESS - I'll explain why there is NOTHING 'ECO' about it
First of all I LOVE oil heaters and I'm disappointed because I really wanted to like this one. The BIGGEST issue with it is the 'ECO' (Thermostat) mode is OPPOSITE of what 'ECO' is supposed to be. It wastes energy needlessly and completely ignores your thermostat setting. I like to keep my bedroom 1-2F warmer at night instead of turning up the central heat. My old thermostat oil heater will simply 'warm up' for 10 minutes and then cycle on/off in 'low power' mode since it's already at room temperature. THAT is how a thermostat 'ECO' (Thermostat) mode is supposed to work. This DREO will run at FULL POWER for 40 Minutes REGARDLESS if you set it near room temperature. In my picture you can see I even lowered it to 55F! (Room temp was 70F) and it was still running at full power for over 30 minutes. Then what's the point of the thermostat!? It's just wasting power and heat. You would think it's a defect but no, hidden in the description that's how it was programmed. This is from the manufacturer: " For the first 40 minutes, regardless of the temperature set on the ECO mode, the thermostat does not intervene and remains on high. This is designed to ensure that the oil heater quickly raises the room temperature when it is low, providing rapid warmth to your room. " So they basically programmed it to 'bypass' the thermostat for 40 Minutes in Thermostat 'ECO' Mode. That makes NO sense. Oil heaters only need around 10 minutes max to warm up, then the thermostat should take over and adjust power if needed to reach the desired temperature. Also in my picture you can see that it's not even a true 1500W heater, it only draws ~1435W. My old oil heater draws 1540W. It still gets hot but it's misleading specs. There was also a faint high pitched whine coming from the LCD screen (not the heating element) because it would go away if I turned the display off with the remote. And speaking of the display, it doesn't even show you what power level (LOW 600W, MED 900W, HI 1500W) mode the heater is running in while in thermostat mode. But of course I found it it's running on HIGH for 40 minutes. My old heater with a small display shows you and even lets you 'limit' the power to LOW or MEDIUM in thermostat mode if you want. It's a shame because it's a really attractive looking heater, but the entire reason you pay a premium for an oil heater with a digital display is for the Thermostat function, which doesn't work like it's supposed to. This is basically only good as an oil heater with manual controls, so might as well get one of those for half the price.

I was skeptical with how cheap and effective basic fan-heaters have become, but there's a good reason the oil-filled radiator has been in use for decades. Works extremely well. Dries out the air in the room much less, and you are less inclined to sit next to it blowing hot air on yourself, drying out your hair and skin. Winter is likely enough to cause wind-burn on your face and dry air in your home, and people aren't thrilled to moisturize and put lotion on their dry flaky legs before heading outside. That flaky skin ends up all over your home, and fan-heaters worsen the problem by sapping moisture out of the air and kicking up that dust that you'll be breathing in. It can be set to turn off periodically to save energy, while the oil inside retains heat and continues to radiate (as the name suggests) until it has cooled enough that it needs to reactivate again. My bedroom is pretty big and poorly insulated due to a large window that is not properly sealed and allows a strong draft in. After a few hours letting it heat up, the radiator has caused a night and day difference. The only downside is probably that when it gets too hot, you can't shut it off and have the heat immediately cut out because it will stay hot for a whole day. Luckily it is light and on wheels, so you can roll it into the hall or wherever.

Bought this for use in conservatory it’s a great heater easy to move . Like the different power settings.Wish I had purchased one like this before it looks good and seems well made better than the cheaper version that I had. Would recommend this heater.
