So many less wires everywhere and the entire lighting and cooling system runs off this.
I love the system, I can hook up my AIO, its screen and all my case fans (10 in total) using only 1 6 pin pci-e on 3 pin cpu fan header and one usb header. but i ordered this without realizing I only needed one hub for the entire system and my AIO and fans each came with a hub. The one that came with my AIO is white like my system build and capable of 24 devices so I only used that one. I'll save this one for a future project.

Overly priced and potential fire hazard
This is the worst Corsair product I have ever purchased. Overly priced and almost destroyed my newly built system. I purchased the iCue link 140 RGB fan (single) and did not read that it required the system hub to go with the fan. The system hub is REQUIRED. That was not a problem and I purchased the system hub for an additional fifty dollars. Received the system hub and read the online manual which is not provided in the box you have to look this up yourself. The instructions were simple. When I turned on the system the iCue fan didn't power on. Figured time to go into inspection mode, disconnected the power and opened the case. Checked the cables to ensure they were not loose. No power to the fan again. Swapped out the 3 different proprietary link cables that Corsair provided with the fan and system hub. On the fifth boot the system hub had a audible pop and the connector port started smoking. I immediately powered down the system checked the extent of the damage. Luckily only the hub had its port burnt.

No regrets!
At first I had issues with my icue hub, but after reaching out to support I found out that my hub was an older model. Instead of having a usb-c port, it had a micro usb port. I was sent a new model and used the new cable from usb 2.0 mother board header to usb-c on hub and everything works. Sometimes icue is slow to pull up system info on dashboard but otherwise works flawlessly. Currently powering 8 RX120 max fans and 4 rx140 max fans. Also using the corsair icue 4 way signal splitter. Dashboard recognizes and shows info for corsair ram, corsair nvme ssd, all fans, hub itself, and then system info. Icue also automatically detected gigabyte sdk and after accepting it started controlling the rgb on my gigabyte gaming 5080 OC gpu. All in all very impressed with the hub and associated software once it's all set up and working properly. Only complaint is Icue software UI isn't optimized for high dpi screens. I'm on a 65 inch LG C2 running 300% scale.

Requires PICe connector for power.
This thing requires a PCIe power connection to run. As many power supplies are only designed expecting to power the motherboard and graphics card these are already dedicated and there are no extra cables for this device. Who would possibly want more power than a regular old Molex connector could provide is beyond me. Must be some sort of crazy case LED light show and wind machine to require that much power.

Interesting device, I'm using this with a pump for a custom loop, good dashboard in ICUE that I can customise. No screws is also a plus. You need to have a free PCIE-6 connector for this device.
