Pretty Good! Reminds me of Instant chicken flavored ramen
I think it was pretty good and flavorful. I did buy it when we couldn't find a vegan chicken bouillon around for a thanksgiving potpie. So, I bought it. It came a little late so my sibling whipped up her own vegan chicken seasoning. Honestly, I'm glad it arrived late. My sister's seasoning was far suitable for what I want in a pot pie. Orrington brand is good, but honestly, it reminds me of instant chicken flavored ramen, which is not the taste I care for when it comes to making gravy and pot pie, but that's just me. I'm glad this didn't end uo in my pot pie, but I will definitetly be using it with my rice soups though! If anyine is conscious about sodium or anything, I wouldn't recommend this. I guess it's not for those who are fearmongering over GMO either.

The best chicken broth substitute I’ve found
I’ve tried many different options, but this one is by far the most convincing. At first, I was only looking for something to use in rice pilaf. Since the broth plays a subtle role in that dish, other products came close, but this one was nearly identical to traditional chicken broth. It gave me the confidence to serve it to guests, knowing they would never guess it wasn’t made from real chicken. The flavor is so accurate that I now use it for chickpea noodle soup, my vegan version of chicken noodle soup. Every other product I tested had an “off” taste, but this one is spot on. When it briefly disappeared from the market, I was so disappointed. I’m thrilled that it’s available again. Lately, I’ve even been shredding super firm tofu and sautéing it with this broth base for a fantastic vegan version of shredded chicken. It has completely elevated my cooking.

Homerun!
Delicious. Mixed easily into my roux (for those who know what that is) and made an exquisite gravy. Also gave a great boost to pork and bean soup. A total winner.

Mild tasting substitute for chicken powder
My wife prefers to eat vegetarian so I tried this as a substitute for the Knorr chicken powder that I use for all-purpose flavor enhancement. It's quite good, it has a mild flavor and its taste is far less salty than the traditional chicken powder (despite it being primarily salt... this is NOT a low sodium food). Like many vegan replacements it does rely on a lot of salt and chemical flavor enhancers to bulk it out. You could possibly find a replacement by grinding salt and sugar with a variety of dried kitchen herbs but most of us don't have time for that. The downside is that it is more expensive than non-vegan alternatives but that's not unusual for these kinds of animal free products.

great flavor without cholesterol
this stuff is awesome! I eat plant based for health, but I really miss meat/poultry I used it to soak soy curls and added pickling spice which made a "corned beef" for St paddys day it was delicious. I purchased some frozen field peas (blackeye peas)while in the south. I came home and simmered them in this broth with onion. OMG it tasted like there was pork in the beans! My next attempt will be collard greens!

Very versatile in my Vegan Kitchen
Great product for making Vegan Soups! I was cautious about making my recipes too salty, but after 24hrs my soup mellowed and was great! Wide mouth container makes it easy to scoop out with a tablespoon measure. Initially used making a split pea soup, I then added it to other soup recipes which gave all ‘depth’ of flavor. Versatile addition to your recipes. Sodium content decreases when you’re making a big pot of soup. I used 3 Tablespoons in a pot of 8 servings. No bad ingredients either.

Tastes like ham seasoning, but vegan!
Has that hint of smoke with spices that taste like ham. My husband stopped eating pork a few years back. So this is going to allow me to get that ham flavor that I miss back into some of my dishes. Update: A little goes a long ways with this product and it gives a dish a good ham flavor without the ham!

For me, a mediocre product.
First of all, nowhere on my jar of broth does it state it contains GMO ingredients. This is the chicken flavor. Sometimes these reviews include different flavors with different ingredients, and I have seen older pictures of labels with an "includes GMO ingredients" statement. As a sipping broth I thought this was pleasantly average; others find it delicious, and they're just as "right" as I am. "Weak" for one person is "subtle" for the next. There's a slight aroma of something herbal, like rosemary or sage (to me, anyway) which I like, and I like the way it tastes used as a seasoning--once you use enough. And there's the rub. I've been a strict vegetarian for over fifty years, and have consumed boatloads of different powdered broths, and as far as I can remember in my experience, the recipe amount for a cup of broth has always been one teaspoon of product. With this stuff, you need TWO (their directions). That's how "subtle" it is. It might taste OK, but for me not good enough to be, more or less, twice as expensive. I sometimes use some of several different products mixed, chosen for qualities I like about each, for a customized cup of broth--easy and good, and lots of variety depending on the chosen proportions from time to time.
