The first one we got was a dud, it wouldn’t stick (nor would it swivel), despite us following instructions to a “T”— cleaned the dash, dried it (there are pads included for that), held it in place for more than 30 seconds while mashing hard, and then didn’t touch it for over 24 hours. The second one was much better; it has stayed put and it was perfect for our curved dashboard in the van. We had tried a few others which would not fit though they claimed to fit any curved surface. We have this on edge of dash and adjusted it so can see it in portrait mode if making Facetime call from phone while vehicle is parked. It works great for that. I am sure it would work great for horizontal mode if you were using your phone for mapping too. Can place phone either way. It also swivels around. If you get one which doesn’t swivel then it’s defective. Our second one was GREAT! It doesn’t swivel while vehicle is moving, you have to give it a good push for that. It looks sleek, it can fold down small. It’s not in the way either. I unplug mine from charging and put my Kindle on it, I just have to set is so Kindle is touching the dask below it to support it so it doesn’t vibrate with van’s motion (I’m the passenger, don’t worry, not driving and reading, haha). I paired it with the page turner for kindle too so while husband drives, I have my books on Kindle and can cover up and lean back and just enjoy. I just added an extra MagSafe ring to back of my kindle. Then I just plug it back in and place phone on it if I want to charge the phone. It charges the phone really well and comes with a cord too. My husband’s Lisen charger was too far away from the cigarette/USB plug so we used a high quality MiFi Certified one which had been tested on our model of phone to get a longer cord for his side. Mine was perfect to go up and sit on edge of center part of dask for passenger. Yes, we liked the first one so much, we ordered a second one. Very versatile charger, it charges fast, we have had no issues with overheating, it swivels to the view we want it to, it has stayed on the dash. My phones hasn’t fallen, not even on a bumpy road in construction area! And then I can take phone off, simply unplug it, and put the Kindle e-reader on it (after putting extra MagSafe ring on back of Kindle. Get this one! Your search is over! Great for dashboard and no worries over breaking your vents as my husband’s old one broke his vent putting his phone charger on it!!! We didn’t want it on glass, didn’t think that’d be safe in accident but you can figure out where you want it. Get this one! We did and got a second, that’s how satisfied! And we tried several before this one too!

The magnetic grip is very strong—once my phone snaps into place, it stays put, even when I’m driving over bumps or taking sharp turns. There’s no wobbling or constant readjusting like with cheaper mounts. It lines up easily with the MagSafe ring, so I don’t have to fiddle around to find the “sweet spot” for charging. The overall design is clean and minimal—nothing bulky or distracting on the dashboard. Installation is straightforward, and once it’s in place, it feels sturdy and premium.

Best accessory purchase I’ve made in a while! Strong magnetic grip! Easy installation! Doesn’t move or bounce around while driving (even though my tires need rotating and vibrate all the time!) it doesn’t charge quite as fast as a direct cord, but if you’re on a long trip, it is able to keep your phone charged while using navigation!

Well made and solid. The joints that move to adjust it are tight enough that they don’t move under the weight of the phone. However, the arm can rotate from the bottom base which is nice but the magnetic phone mount surface doesn’t rotate, so if you want to rotate the arm 90 or 180 degrees so that you can move the phone where you want, the charging cord also rotates with the apparatus. So, the charging cord can potentially be coming out of the top of the charger and the cord is in the way of things in the vehicle. It’s still very nice, if it also had a rotating charging head it would be great.

I’ve been buying phone mounts for my car for years, never finding one that worked for me. I don’t like blocking a vent for a vent-mounted holder, so those are out. The ones that stick to the window get in the way and clutter up the car’s interior. They also eventually fall. Nothing worked for me. Until this. This mount is compact and flexible. It can be attached to a small area and in all these many months, it has never failed, never fallen, never dropped my phone. It charges my phone and the cord is easy to tuck into the trim of my Honda so it isn’t getting tangled everywhere. The magnet is super strong and the options for turning and tilting my phone make is absolutely perfect. This is the one, y’all. Get it.

UPDATE: I’ve decided to move this from 4 to 5 stars. After one month of use, this product is solid as a rock. It is securely attached to my dash and the magnet sucks my phone onto the pad (iPhone 16 Pro). Charging my phone is just an added bonus. It literally does everything it advertises. A right angle charge cord will solve the bunching problem between the unit and the dash. First off, follow the directions. I have no trouble with this unit sticking to my dash. Zero. None whatsoever. 6 stars. Just make sure you’re not trying to stick it on leather, a mostly vertical position or something dusty. You’ll be fine. Ignore the won’t stick reviews. It’s a solid piece of metal and has some heft. The telescoping function is not that helpful since it only moves the phone 2-3 inches away from the base. If that’s important, try another model with a longer arm. The power cable for charging from the base feeds from the bottom and if you’ve got the base applied to the top of your dash, the cord will be crowded (bent) if you push it all the way down. The MagSafe magnet works flawlessly. The phone charges and will not slide. And this is from someone going over terrain in a jeep. The viewing angle will not go to vertical flat, but the slight upwards angle is not a deal breaker. This is a good product. And would be perfect with a few minor tweaks.
