I have been looking for something like this for years.
Pumps water out of trenches and great for bailing boats. Did you ever have to changes sump pumps when the sump was full of water? If I used it more I would have purchased the 18 volt version. As it is I own two because it is never where you need it.

Saves my back
I bought this to drain my small pools that I use for my ducks. It's been so nice and it saves my back! I did upgrade the battery so that I am able to empty the pools more often without charging, I have 3 pools all different sizes. It is great to attach a hose to and water the plants so I'm not wasting water.

gets the job done
Quieter than expected. Gets the job done quickly.Bonus for my application, pulling irrigation water from a barrel: pump setup allows for a siphon. Run the pump for 5 seconds or so, then shut off and let the siphon fill the buckets.
