06026 Heavy Duty Corrosion Inhibitor, 10 Wt Oz

This works really well to coat and protect things from rusting . . . especially in a marine environment. The only 'downside' is that it does leave the surface coated with a waxy~greasy coating that is yellow/brownish in color. But, I guess you have to think that there's gotta be something there to keep the surface from getting exposed and, if necessary, it is possible to remove this with a degreaser or mineral spirits, etc.

This is THE stuff to undercoat your car with. I have a 2007 Explorer, that had light rusting in 2018 when I bought it; a yearly coating of this has fully arrested all rust, and the parts have developed a black patina that almost makes them look new. It dries hard. It does not damage rubber, like most wet products. It doesn't absorb dirt and make your car unworkable like fluid film. Only downsides are it's sticky when sprayed; wear junk clothes and a proper mask; it's not toxic but you don't want wax in your lungs. It does eventually crack if exposed to a lot of UV, but this only happened on my trailer hitch (which still has no rust). Has a amber color, so only good under car.

Bought this to use on the underside of my mower deck. Nothing knocks this stuff off. Got some new spinning yard ornaments to replace the rusted ones. Sprayed this stuff on the posts and the welds on the blades and the bearing edges. The coating dries pretty clear. Time will tell but so far the results are great. Just got another can too. I’m spraying everything outside that I don’t want to rust.

Spray on part, self levels as it dries, doesn’t have that tacky feel that some Chinese metal parts do when new.

Saw some reviews on this stuff on YouTube. Seems power washing was NOT enough to remove it. I used it on a vehicle's undercarriage in conjunction with Surface Shield product, which is more watery and runny for good creeping into crevices. This CRC product will not run or drip.

Great product. I used this as a rust remover also. Sprayed a little on a rusted antique , waited about 5mins and wiped it clean of the rust. Sprayed it again and left it on. It creates a firm film coating protecting it from rusting again. I used it on the badly rusted bumper of my 54 Dodge pickup and it greatly improved to lookd.

I bought this to put on a evaporator coil. Everyone in the HVAC field knows how much and quick an e-coil will corrode and rust where the copper and galvanized metal meet. I sprayed this on these areas before installing the coil in November of 2023. Here it is almost 2 yrs later and not one sign of corrosion or rust. The coil I relaced was only 4 yrs old and covered with rust and corrosion. Time will tell, but I think this should be used on all e-coils before installation.

Priced lower than WD-40 with the same anticorrosion formula. Great value!
