Kitchens of India Pindi Chana Chick Peas Curry
Kitchens of India Pindi Chana Chick Peas Curry taste delicious with nice spice. I like it over rice. I add extra heat with Capsaicin. It is easy to heat in eat as it takes just minutes to prepare. The product contains natural ingredients and is versatile, working well with rice or you can eat it with flat bread or crackers or anything else. It seems reasonably priced as the six pack is a good size, Subscribe & Save discount & Free Shipping helps as well. it does have high in sodium so I do not add salt to my rice dish.

Real Desi Food, not a “mild” and watered down “Americanized” version
If you’re looking for something with tons of oil and spices dumped in it, because that’s what you’re supposed to have when you eat it mixed with a proper amount of otherwise relatively bland rice or bread, then this is it. I just made some Chana this way myself, not the pindi style specifically, but with the spices and oil “overdone” for better mixing with rice, and this pre-packaged version is as “concentrated” as what I had made for myself just by eyeballing and guessing. So for me this is dead on, but if you’re not eating this in a typical “Indian manner” with enough rice etc then you’re probably going to find it too “strong”. At absolute minimum this is made to eat 1:1 or 1:2 with rice etc. Excellent value for the money for the price when I bought it, especially if your kitchen is temporarily torn apart for repairs and you can’t cook like usual.

Great product but multiple bait and switch sellers
Fantastic 5 star product, like all the Kitchens of India foods. Unfortunately there is at least one BAIT AND SWITCH seller "Wesen Enterprises." DO NOT USE. Item was CLEARLY listed as a 6 pack. I ordered 3 for a total of 18. I RECEIVED A SINGLE PACKET so I was shorted SEVENTEEN. Item was on sale on Prime Day from multiple sellers at the same price. Now the item has gone back to the original price so increased $7/pack. Amazon and seller refuse to fulfill my original order.

Soooo good!
This stuff is sooooooo good!!! I was looking for vegetarian meal options that would be easy and quick. This fits the bill - heat in the microwave, pour over rice, and you have great Indian food! This is my second purchase, and I will definitely keep getting it. I highly recommend it for quick, easy meals that actually taste good!

Good product for when you are in a pinch
It's a good product for an emergency. The taste and flavor of the product has not been the same over the years. I miss the old product before the recipe or quality of ingredients were changed. Still a good product. Great for a road trip when you want something quick. Note: The description says 6 pack, but it's not a 6 pack. It's a single 10oz pouch. Wouldn't buy a single pack for the listed price. It's outrageous. I can get it for less than 4$ a pouch at my local grocery store.

Not half bad, and super convenient
I recently tried the KoI Chick Pea Curry after being impressed with their Kitchens of India Paste for Butter Chicken Curry, 3.5-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 6) . With the Butter Chicken, you have to add chicken and some other ingredients (i.e. water, butter), but with this Chickpea curry it's all inclusive in a pouch - simply squeeze the pasty contents of the pouch into a pan and heat up for a few minutes. I served over couscous, not sure how authentic that is but it was pretty good. The nutritional info says one pouch contains 2.5 servings but in my opinion it's only enough to feed one, and even then I'd want some rice or something with it. It's high in sodium, but unfortunately so are most packaged foods. I'm normally a big meat eater and even though this is a vegetarian dish I still found it substantial enough for a quick dinner. My only complaint is I'd say it is a little bit mushy, but overall it's not bad and for the convenience it's tough to beat. Because it's so easy to prepare requiring no outside ingredients and with a shelf live of over 2 years, not only is this a good quick/convenient food option but stocking a few in the pantry in case of emergency (i.e. as part of hurricane preparedness stash depending on where you live) wouldn't be a bad idea as long as you have a way to heat it, like the Coleman PefectFlow 1-Burner Stove , although I'm sure you could eat it cold if necessary - and the pouch packaging is much smaller and lighter than canned food.

Kitchens of India Ready to Eat Pindi Chana, chick Pea Curry
I love Indian food. I frequent the Indian grocery store almost weekly. I was wanting some Indian cuisine that I could quickly heat up for my family without having to go to a lot of work. The "Kitchens of India Ready to Eat Pindi Chana" is great taste-wise and labor-wise. I just opened the pouches and poured them into a saucepan to heat up. I poured it over rice since it's on the spicy side. It takes 2 pouches to give a family of 4 an adequate serving. Tastes delicious and I will be buying more of this. And it doesn't require refrigeration so it makes a great camping food or when the power might go off. I love foods that I can store in my Pantry for an extended period of time and that taste good too.

Vegan Natural Kosher Choice
Vegan. Natural. Kosher Pareve. Spicy. Tender chana [also known as chick peas or garbanzos] along with some pieces of aloo [potatoes] in a delightful & spicy vegetable gravy. Authentic flavor. Taste the 'kick' from real Indian green chilis. Let your adventurous taste buds travel to India without having to go there. Great with whole wheat pitas, organic basmati rice, or your favorite [Indian] bread. Made with chick peas, potatoes, onions, sunflower oil, tomatoes, spices, green chilis, salt, ginger, garlic, pomegranate seed powder, and tea leaves extract. 525 calories and 20g protein per package. Product of India. Also really like Kitchens Of India Ready To Eat Rajma Masala, Red Kidney Bean Currry, 10-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 6) .
