My first diesel heater, I like it
I watched a bunch of videos about diesel heaters, read all of the comments and took a chance. My experience is that this heater was well assembled and safe to use as it came from the factory. The allegedly junk green fuel line works. There were no loose screws or hose clamps. There were no leaks. I’ve run it flawlessly for 10-12 hours daily for several weeks heating a 14’x22’ room in a garage. Does it heat it up quickly? Not really, but after a couple of hours the temperature has been at least 10 degrees warmer than outside and after that the temperature keeps rising about 10 degrees Fahrenheit an hour. That’s my experience with this heater. The room has a 12’ ceiling, so it’s a pretty good sized space. I have the heater sitting outside the building and 8’ of ducting run through the window into the room. I think it would heat quicker if mounted inside the room and the exhaust run through the wall to the outside but I’m not sure because I haven’t tried it. On the highest setting I think it will run about 12-14 hours per tankful. I use a 50 amp lifepo4 battery to power it. After the shutdown sequence is completed, within 5 minutes the exhaust pipe and heater are cool enough for me to touch and separate for storage. The exhaust pipe is actually cold within 5 minutes . I think this type heater is for people that have some experience with equipment and who enjoy operating different types of equipment. If you expect to plug and play and don’t have any idea of what to do when a clamp needs tightening or how to install a fuel line hose clamp, maybe you should consider another type of heater. Personally , I think these heaters are fun to set up and run and I am not a professional.

Bottom housing riveted on with no access from the top or sides
Updated! Just tried to return through Amazon and it’s non returnable!!! The Amazon ad mentioned nothing about it being nonAReturnable!! To contact the manufacturer!!! They’re in China with no street address to return to and only an email address to communicate with! I’ll never do this again!!! Shame on Amazon for no disclosure of a no return policy.I bought this for my RV and just getting it set up. I spilled diesel fuel inside of it for the tank is on the inside. If you spill diesel inside it there’s no way to to drain it or to do a clean up. Ask me how i know. Also the exhaust vent is vented inside so fuel gets inside it too. They should have shrouded the interior vent over the exhaust for an accidental runoff of fuel . I haven’t even turned it on yet!!! I just got it and now this. I have a huge mess to clean up. I have to drill out the rivets and replace with screws so I can get in there and drain it and clean it. 2nd, the exhaust line is 2 foot long which is entirely too short for where I can put the unit. I had to buy gas flex line at a big box store at a price of $75 to be able to vent it where I need to. Even The exhaust hose is an is a fire hazard! It needs to be vented . Unless you mount the unit immediately beside where you vent it, it’s insanely too short. 3rd, the 12 V connection cord is only 12 inches long and the same applies. I had to buy wiring to be able to solder together to make it much much longer where I can mount the machine and hook it to the batteries. 4th, once I opened up the unit I noticed, after the diesel fuel spill that the exhaust vent has its own slotted vent inside of the unit apparently to heat inside the box. Unfortunately, diesel spill down into the exhaust port as well. So I don’t even have a clue if this unit will even run until I get to the point I can get inside of it, clean it and turn it on. If it doesn’t turn on, then this will cost me dearly as a cold snap is moving in within a matter of hours. And I don’t have anything to replace heating the rig. In the next hour, if it doesn’t run, I will have to winterize the RV in less than two hours unplug it and walk away. I’ll be homeless until I can find another suitable heating system. I bought this because my furnace quit impeccable timing. And 5th, the instruction manual is rather vague and needs much better explanations. For example, there is a seemingly sealed oil line for the diesel engine, but there is no instructions for maintenance of that line. Or is it refillable or not. If not once the oil becomes low, the unit will simply kill the engine, On that design alone I’d return it. Unfortunately, this seemed like a great heater And was recommended highly on some Facebook pages but unfortunately it’s desig ln Is its Achilles heel.I was expecting way better design than this. Therefore, I’m rating it one star. I will be returning it either way, but I’m praying it runs until I can get something better.

its hot!
works well every climate its been used. high elevations mostly. Its for my mobile ski cabin. the remote makes it easy because it can heat up multiple vehicles with a duct splitter. heats up fast and goes all night. it ticks and sounds just like every other diesel heater. as far as heat goes, this seems to be the most effective, both cost and function. will be buying another one for my cargo trailer.
