I’ve had one cup break due to another item in the dishwasher hitting it. This glass is thick all the way through. The one on the right was purchased from a local bar/restaurant and is WAY thinner. You can use these for sublimation. I don’t love the bamboo lids/glass straws for mold/safety. If you want lids, shop for acrylic lids. That, or find some that have silicone covering where the lid comes into contact with liquid. If they could switch the straws to stainless or to silicone these would be perfect. I’m giving 5 stars for the cup quality and thickness. I knew going into these that the lids can mold since they’re wood. The straws haven’t been used because I’m not trusting myself and my face with glass straws!

These glasses are a nice size and seemed to be a fairly good weight, however the tip of one of the straws broke after only using the cup a few times. Then the other one in the set shattered after being dropped on the carpet. I know that’s to be expected with glass, but this thing shattered into a million tiny slivers. If I could find a set that was made of tempered glass I would definitely purchase those instead. These are great for looks and occasional use, but don’t expect them to by your everyday bar ware or anything.

Quality is better than what I expected. I'm in love with them, perfect for personalizing and gifting. Can't wait to start being creative.
