I purchased this tent last year and have been very pleased with it. I have taken it on 4 trips and have experienced a variety of conditions and the tent has performed beautifully. I have quite a bit of experience with camping, so I did not find it difficult to set up even though the included instructions are minimal at best. I have it completely up and staked out in about 20 minutes. If you take the time to ensure the correct poles are in the right holes on the plastic brackets, and the plastic clips are secured on the larger poles, you will not have any problems with collapse. Having the tent properly set up made severe wind on the Northern California coast a non issue. You have the tent completely staked out for the most stability and strength in the design. I purchased some paracord from Harbor Freight and some additional stakes to do it right. One of the best features is the rainfly covering the entire tent. Compared to the CORE tent of the same size, this tent should not have any of the water issues that those tents with the 1/2 rainflys have. I have experienced severe thunderstorms in the Sierra Nevada with hard rain and hail, with no leakage issues. As far as the awnings, the description stated one set of poles, so you will need to buy additional poles to set up all 3 awnings. Amazon has a good set of poles that will help you complete this for an additional $34 for 2 sets of 2. Privacy...unparalleled. It is all black, so even with lights on in the tent, you cannot see shadows from the outside. Also, there are window coverings and the divider can be zipped up so the "bedroom" will be enclosed. I also picked up a medium duty tarp from Harbor Freight to act as a tent footprint, a must when setting up outside. I have only one gripe about the zippered divider in the middle of the tent. If you have a larger mattress, like the Seely airbed from Costco, you can only orient the bed in one direction. The divider goes all the way to the floor and cannot be completely unzipped out of the way. Not a big deal, but something to be aware of. There is a ton of room and it is extremely comfortable since I can stand up with ease and have plenty of room for a table and chairs, suitcase...whatever you need to keep inside. Ventilation is good, especially without the rainfly. Minimal condensation between the rainfly and the tent in moist conditions. It being an all black tent, it makes sleeping in late a possibility unless you're in the full sun. It becomes an oven in the heat but it will cool off quickly as soon as it is opened up. I gotten a lot of compliments from other campers about this tent, especially when they are trying to reassemble their collapsed tents and mine is still standing strong. Overall, I don't think you buy a better tent for $300 and have 1-4 people be extremely comfortable.

Spacious, comfy, and dry, with just a couple minor design flaws. Very stylish and thoroughly water proof, but the only way to completely zip up the rain fly is from the outside, meaning in order to be able to get in and out at night, one of the flaps has to remain unzipped. We slept with the front awning up and it rained pretty hard, only getting a few drops in through the mesh door next to the corner of the tent. Materials seem high quality and there is enough room for up to 4 people and their things to sleep comfortably. Setup is a bit of a pain and it's a bit heavy, as with any large tent, but for the campground environments this is built for, it's perfect. I'd give it 5 out of 5 stars if they only included the 4 awning poles shown in the photos. The listing does clearly state that there are only 2, but the photos show 4 which has confused many other purchasers in the reviews.

Amazing tent! So aesthetic and functional, my boyfriend and I wanted to start camping this year and this tent was so easy to set up, it’s also huge on the inside, can stand up and easily walk around, not too heavy for either of us to carry and the zippers seem strong and glide really easily we booked a campsite and can’t wait to try it but we set it up in our living room and it seems really durable . The rainfly is also good quality so I doubt we will have any trouble if it rains. Not sure about how waterproof the bottom is but I always recommend laying a tarp down under the tent anyways for protection. Will update this review after testing it at our campsite!

This tent is a joke, one night on a rain soaked ground and there is water on the flooring under our bedding. Not just damp but actual water.

Me gustaría explicarles lo más que pueda de esta casa. Me la llevé a la playa y puedo decirles que me sorprendió su calidad. Los materiales son muy buenos, viene reforzada en las esquinas para que no entre agua, las telas usadas son ibuenas (con buen grosor y repelencia al agua (1500 mm) y los mosquiteros de ventanas y techo son gruesos a comparación de otras casas de campaña. Son buenos materiales. Espacio: Compre la casa de 10 personas color negro para usarla mi esposa , yo y mis dos perros, esta se divide en dos ambientes; el primero, es como una "sala de estar" ; y la otra, es "el cuarto". Las divide una tela que se puede abrir o cerrar por completo con cierres, pero no se puede quitar (no afecta). "Sala": Prácticamente hay tres puertas, dos laterales y la principal al frente que están hechas con mosquitero grueso. La única forma de taparlas es poniendo la cubierta de techo. "Cuarto o recámara": En esta hay tres ventanas, dos laterales y una en la parte baja de la parte trasera. Cada una de ellas si tienen una tela negra con cierre que podrás cerrar para que no se vea en caso de que te quieras cambiar o en su defecto para que se quede oscuro el cuarto y puedas dormir mejor. En nuestro caso dejamos ventanas laterales cerradas, la trasera baja abierta y el techo sin cubierta para que se ventilara bien. Hay dos bolsas laterales para que puedas poner objetos. Techo: El techo es todo de mosquitero y te permite una ventilación excelente y la vista de las estrellas. Cubierta: Es robusta, cubre techo, laterales de la casa y parte delantera y trasera. Los laterales y la parte delantera puedes enrollarlos o poner dos varillas o palos de aluminio para convertirlos en techos que te den sombra extra fuera de la casa y al hacerlo seguirás beneficiando la ventilación. La parte trasera no se puede enrollar, solo se puede jalar hacia atrás un poco de la parte baja y sujetarla con estaca para que entre ventilación pues en la parte baja de la casa en esa parte (trasera) hay una ventana que abarca todo el ancho de esa pared, lo cual te ayuda a tener ventilación en caso de lluvia. Ahora en caso de lluvia la carpa trae cierres en todos sus extremos (excepto la parte trasera que es fija) y cuenta con unas "solapas o pestañas" que cubren los cierres es decir, te cubrirá muy bien en caso de lluvia. Conclusión: Es una tienda con buenos materiales que te servirá muy bien tanto para días lluviosos como cálidos. Solo recuerda que el color negro siempre es más complejo para mantener limpio, pues se ensucia más fácil, aunque se ve espectacular.
