I really like this Hydroponic garden. It would have been perfect if the plant food was a liquid instead of dried crystals that needed to be added to water and shaken until dissolved. My other Hydroponics garden is very nice but missing the see thru water level marking on the front. My first one has a float to tell water level but it tends to get stuck, and before you know it the level is too low. So this is a big improvement. Also, this one is a couple of inches deeper which is good too. I love that the lights and water pump come on automatically which makes taking care of the plants really simple.

I needed a new aerogarden, and this was a lot less expensive than the name brand ones. It arrived today, we set it up, and it works perfectly. The caps are a lot lighter weight than aerogarden ones, but they work just fine.I thought they only sent 4 caps at first, but when I got them apart, all 8 were there, they were just thinner than I expected. The quality of the actual hydroponic garden seems to be really good, and I am happy with this purchase.

I am new to hydroponic growing. I have no idea how to set up or use the system. I’ve guessed at setup but now I’m lost without pictures identifying the components. Would not buy again.

Everything looks and works as it's suppose to. Great value! Very quiet and easy to use. Most things have had a good germination rate!

This is the third hydroponic system I have purchased. I previously purchased 8 pod and 12 pod units. Don't waste your time on smaller units because there is a world of plants out there to grow. I like this unit because the pods have a bit more distance between them than my other units. This is important because different plants grow at different rates and they can crowd each other out. You will be surprised how quickly your plants will grow. After coming home from a vacation, you will be shocked at the growth. That's another plus for the DakRide, it holds more water/nutrients than other systems.

It does not have some fancy features of Aerogarden models, such as water level and fertilizer indicators. But, it costs almost less that 1/2 their price! I was comparing it next to an Aerogarden. The same results were achieved within the same period of time. Aerogarden comes with the seeds, Dakride NOT. Aerogarden's water pump is more quiet. It is almost 2 weeks that we are using them, therefore I cannot say anything about their durability. I would consider DakRide again, if I decide to add another unit, it is less expensive!

I guess I didn’t look closely enough at the “what’s included” since I didn’t notice that the pods are just empty sponge pods. They didn’t provide any seeds. They also state in the instructions they recommends you only use the sponge pods once, so you will have to buy more from them anyways. You won’t be able to grow anything with just the box contents, so get seeds too. I was really surprised, because I thought those sponge pods would come with like a 1 dollar seed packet.Doesn’t make sense to go with this unit when we also have an Aerogarden and it’s a lot better. Also the Aerogarden came with seeds in the pods.I’d say if these were coffee makers, the Aerogarden is like having a Keurig, where it’s all ready in one pod and low maintenance, whereas this thing is more like a Mr. Coffee, so you’re doing the setup. You have to setup little pipe stands inside this thing to hold the lid up.Honestly, it feels cheap and kept falling over when I was setting it up. Since I’m now waiting on seeds, I have no idea how it performs yet. I just know it’s been frustrating and disappointing up to this point. I will update if this thing turns out to be amazing. Otherwise, it’s not.
