This is hands-down the best football we’ve found for peewee / flag football practice. The size is absolutely perfect for young kids. It’s small enough for little hands to grip properly, which makes a huge difference when they’re learning to throw, catch, and carry the ball with confidence. My child went from struggling to spiral to actually throwing clean passes after just a few practices using this ball. Can throw tis thing a 1/4 mile.

If you are playing competitive flag football and are allowed to use the PeeWee size, this is it. I found the Wilson Super Grip to also be excellent, but Wilson does not make it in PeeWee size. I purchased about 8 different footballs and tested them all with our QB. The Nike ball is super tacky, and if you pair it with receiver gloves, it's a deadly combination. One of the footballs arrived "warm" from the sun and it felt too slick. But overnight, it regained its tackiness and is totally fine. This is the ball you want for competitive play. Trust me.

Good for any young player. 6-8 yr age range. Brand new the ball has great tack, but after a couple weeks already starting to wear down. Not sure I'd buy again. Not for heavy use.
