Loses a star on ‘Value for Money’ as it’s the ‘pocket’ size. £11.50 (at the time) I feel, is £2-3 too much. However; the quality, utility and usefulness of these ‘reporter flip’ notebooks is unmatched. The simplicity of flipping them open, making notes, perusing notes and generally enjoying whatever it is you are doing, is unparalleled and a thing of beauty. To make notes, of note, is notably enjoyable and I love it! Moleskine is Moleskine, you know what they are, you love them or, you don’t. No shame either way. I also enjoy another brand or two, one is German, another Japanese, they have different utility to this. So, if you want the traditional & long admired quality quality breeds, go for it, if not, go amazon basics. My view is this: food and shelter are the most important needs, sort them out. If, ‘IF’, you have the money to spare (we don’t always), go for quality. There’s nothing worse than reflecting & making notes on inferior paper with an inferior writing implement. Buy; good pen, pencil and eraser, & quality notebooks. Label your notebooks when they’re full, file them suitably for future reference, and most importantly, as you go through using them, try to do the following; write lightly so you can easily erase if needed. Use space in a sensible & methodical manner that makes (tidy) sense to you. Use all space, don’t waste any. Make an index, and make your notebook personal to you. If you are inclined, personalise it with stickers or sketches on the covers. Accessorise it with a Velcro stick on pen holder, buy some ribbon to cut into strips and use as page markers. Do whatever you like to personalise it and make it ‘feel good’ for when you use it. Why? Because; if you feel good about your notebook, you are far more likely to be inspired to write great things in it, or pertinent and valid things that make some sort of wonderful sense, to you. Everyone should be able to look back at their notes, years from now, and think ‘yes, I really enjoyed that or what a great idea that was’ etc. Have fun, don’t eat pencils - they contain lead, and don’t eat erasers, either - they taste minging! Was delivered on time. As you would expect from a moleskine product it is well made and ergonomically pleasing. I found the detachable pages in the rear a great bonus when having to pass on contact details etc. Meaning I could tear out pages without compromising the integrity of the rest of the notebook.

Great product but watch out for the postage charges. I bought 5 of the same item and they all arrived separately. I use a mail forwarding service so got hit with 5 sets of charges !

The person requesting this for Xmas was v specific that he wanted reporter style, soft pad and lined paper etc and was pleased to find it here after looking elsewhere. The delivery was v quick too. Thank u

Not as nice as I expected for the price and when I took out a page 5-6 in to the pad other pages fell out.

Like all the notebooks in the Moleskine range, this book is of good quality, durable, with elastic to help mark your place. However, unless you intend to use it sitting at a table, I'd order the hardback version of this instead. I ordered the softback because Amazon warned me that there would be a delay in getting the hardback, but the soft covers mean it is in fact very difficult to use 'in the field', as opposed to on a table. I'll be getting the hardback in future.

High quality notebook, Moleskine quality in tire pocket

Moleskine è sempre una garanzia, ottimo prodotto, comodo e utilizzimo.

Da ich bei meiner täglichen Arbeit unterwegs ständig Notizen mache, trage ich am Liebsten ein handliches Notizbuch mit mir. Auch wenn man alles im Smartphone notieren könnte, ist mir persönlich das Handgeschriebene immer noch viel lieber. Diese handlichen Moleskine Notizblöcke sind dabei meine absoluten Favoriten: tolle Verarbeitung, eine tolle Haptik und sehr stabil. Sie passen problemlos in jeder Jackentasche oder Hosentasche. Das Gummiband leiert auch nach etlichen Wochen nicht aus. Besonders praktisch finde ich die kleine Tasche, die hinten integriert ist. Hier kann man praktischerweise Visitenkarten einstecken, egal ob es seine eigenen oder die eines neuen Kontakte sind. Die Qualität ist bei diesem Produkt wie üblich Moleskine-typisch exzellent. Einzig den Preis finde ich etwas ambitioniert, denn einfache Notizblöcke gibt es für deutlich weniger Geld. Trotz diesem kleinen Wermutstropfen bin ich absolut überzeugt von dem Produkt und gebe deshalb gerne eine Kaufempfehlung.
