I needed this size because my bike frame can only fit 1 big bottle and 1 small bottle. Paid more for this small bottle but it can leak at times. The top also is a little hard to pull off sometimes, kind of gets stuck. Still just the job, I just wish it had the quality of their bigger bottles (the 600ml).

This bottle is great, like all Polar Bottles I've used. Constructed just like the larger ones, but at around 12 ounces so it's a better size for kids (or for anyone who's happy with a smaller size). Fits perfectly in the water bottle cage on the bike, keeps ice water cold for a long time. Only complaint is the cap - my 5 year old had trouble opening and closing it at first, and if it's not properly closed it will drip when turned upside-down. Not a big deal, as this fits all of the other Polar Bottle caps that I have as well as some other brands. The 5 year old prefers a twist-style lid because it's easier for him to open and close, and I prefer the leak-proof type since he forgets to close it anyway. We use the one from a Camelbak Podium bottle instead). I think the cap is fine, but not the best choice for a smaller child. That might be a matter of personal preference so your mileage may vary.

The bottles are a great size and seem like they were exactly what we needed. Our autistic son is 13 and still uses sippy cups because he likes them. I wanted him to have something a little less baby like for 8th grade. However, he doesn’t seem to have the grip strength to pull the spout open. These are very hard to open so I’m not sure how they’re marketed for kids.

Bought this because my toddler is a throw-er. If you’ve ever had a metal water bottle hit you in the head or fly across your car in to a window, then you get why this is necessary. This is a soft water bottle - as soft as a water bottle can be. Keeps water pretty cool. It’s not leak-proof but that’s not promised by the manufacturer so it shouldn’t be expected. The design of almost any sport top water bottle will ensure leaking if the tops not down. My 2.5 year old can hold this easily and even when he does throw it, it’s less likely to cause damage. It’s easy to clean too. My kid needs access to water at home and daycare. This makes that possible.
