Curious about the on/off knob and the two pins that bump together.
Just opened mine, and it DOES NOT WORK! In trying to figure out if I'm doing something wrong. I started reading other negative reviews, and some complain of no oil. Well, when I attach the pump to the ram on mine, then disconnect it, a few drops of oil do come out, so it at least has some. Both check valves (on the pump and the ram) are closed when the two are disconnected, so it's not that it all leaked out. I am curious about one thing (hopefully the manufacturer is reading the reviews). There are are small pins on the open/close valve knob. There is one on the knob, and one o the body of the pump under the knob. When twisting it to on, the pins bump each other stopping the knob from turning any further. It does not feel ,Ike like the valve is closing all the way. I'm thinking about clipping these pins off. Any advice?

1-18-26 review
After reading reviews mainly complaining about no fluid, not working, or no instructions. First I wanna say people make it sound difficult and probably not a person who works in a hands on field. Ordered 3 they all worked out of the box! Because of the reviews the first thing I checked was fluid. Simply unscrew the yellow tube from the top and found 1/2 tube full of oil. When you get it out of the box remove the plastic ends and hook up the hose to the ram. It does take up to 15 pumps before it starts to pick the first time and get full of fluid. Next these types of things are made to lift extremely heavy loads. They dont lift quickly. Probably 50 pumps for 2 inches. Which if you truly are picking something in the 30 to 40k pounds its something your gonna want control. For me we was jacking up a 60 foot tall tank so we needed control to make sure it didn't fall over due to the wind.

Is it low on hydraulic fluid?
Works but seems like it is low on hydraulic fluid. No instructions on fill level, etc.
