A sturdy, well-designed phone holder
I bought the largest size of this phone holder in order to accommodate my Samsung S21 Ultra phone (diagonal screen size = 6.75 inches) plus its book-style cover. The holder is indeed large enough; two internal flaps that join together with Velcro behind the phone hold it secure in the case, with further space behind for holding credit cards (slots for which are provided) or even a wallet – a potentially very useful feature. I can even squash a fairly large external battery pack in behind the phone, though this makes it difficult (but not impossible) to zip up the holder. However, the case will not accommodate a lead connecting the devices unless I leave the case partially unzipped at the bottom to enable the USB-C connection to the phone to protrude, which could become an issue when cycling in heavy or prolonged rain. The quality of construction is good. The shell is sturdy, and the zip seems pretty robust. The transparent plastic window is responsive to the touch (unless you are wearing gloves), making it possible to operate the phone when the phone is fully enclosed. One nice design touch is the raised lip at the front of the holder for shading the screen from direct sunlight. The effectiveness of this feature will of course be affected by your direction of travel, the angle of the sun and the angle at which the holder is mounted. The bracket into which the holder clips has a long enough stalk to permit attaching it to straight handlebars that have a dip in the middle. However, the importance of making sure that the holder is FULLY clipped into place was underscored for me during the ride in which the holder was jolted completely off the bracket (and fortunately fell into the handlebar basket). I have not yet ridden with the holder in rain, so the watertightness of the zip remains to be tested. EDITS 1) I found that the jolting of the bike gradually causes the plastic nut which secures the bracket of the holder to the handlebar has a tendency to work loose, allowing the phone holder to tilt forward because the bracket is no longer gripping the handlebar so tightly. So I devised a workaround in the form of a long cable tie securing the bracket to the stem of the handlebar, thereby limiting the ability of the bracket to move and the tendency of the securing nut to loosen. (See photos.) 2) I found that my cycling gloves with conductive fingertips are able to operate my phone through the holder window.

put a scouring sponge behind it or it sakes about a lot
Not bad for the money but there too much empty room in it so its a bit slack inside. If you put a washing up sponge in it it solves the problem and makes it sturdy. The tightening nuts are a bit fiddly and hard to get tight without the aid of a pair of grips, it still slides out of place sometimes and will get glued in place when I get round to it but I use it on a scooter which rattles on every pothole so is to be expected really. With a little adjustment works well. Happy.

You can still use touchscreen while phone in case.
Grandson loves this. You can use the phone (touchscreen) while its in the case. So he can check any messages etc while he's riding. Perfect size for his phone also there is some room for storage eg money ,card etc. Very easy to use, fastens to bike handlebars perfectly.
