I am transitioning our household away from plastic storage. This is a really good place to start, the containers are a little smaller than I expected, but I will order additional individual pieces for really larger needs. Easy to clean pop in dishwasher, keep lids in top shelf makes clean up really easy keeps everything fresh, and is really functional as you can prep, save left overs or serve in these. No weird plastic smell, and they will obviously last much longer than plastics. And you can use in microwave without worrying what toxic chemicals may be leaching into your foods!

I picked up this set to help me eat healthier. When it comes to snacks, I tend to reach for what’s easy - cookies, chips etc. But I knew I should be eating yogurt, nuts, berries etc. I like them too but grabbing junk was faster.It occurred to me that if I had snacks ready made I was more likely to grab them. But many of my storage containers were plastic and I don’t eat out of plastic. And my everyday dishes don’t have lids. So I decided to upgrade my snacks by buying this glass storage set and preparing snacks in advance.Now, I make snacks in the am or a day before like apple slices and peanut butter, sliced hard cooked egg, nuts and cheese, yogurt parfaits etc. And I store them individually in these containers. When I want a snack they are easy to grab and eat from.The containers are nicely sized for different foods and perfect for my purpose plus great for storage. They are so much nicer than plastic. And the price is so reasonable. Plus I love the fresh mixed blue colors. My healthier snack plan is working great!

First of all, I needed to move to glass because plastic containers and dishwashers are a dismal combo and I need all the help I can get in the Staying On Top of Kitchen Chores department.These glass containers have been a game changer with one single caveat: As others have stated, the lids, if you so much as look twice at them, will melt and become misshapen and therefore useless.Dishwashers and glass? YESDishwashers and lids? BIG FAT NO. Handwash only.Stovetop placement/resting with the oven on 300º? BIG FAT NO. Toss it, and hit up Pyrex for replacements.(I've ruined 2 lids now...)They nest well. They've improved the quality of my life. I love them. Except for the lids.You've been warned.

I started prepping meals and needed containers that not only keep it fresh but also maintains the quality. Seeing how these cover the different sizes I would need and I’m able to reheat it in different ways, I decided to try them out.It’s easy to clean and very easy use. I just pop it into the oven or microwave when I need to then onto the dishwasher when I’m done.The smaller ones are the perfect size for chia pudding or overnight oats and the bigger ones are for proteins/meals I prepped for the week. I can definitely see the difference in how fresh it lasts versus my plastic ones. It also keeps the food warm longer and has no smell to it as a bonus.Definitely my go to container now!

I've compared several different brands of glass storage containers and this Anchor Hocking product line has the heaviest, most durable looking glass of any I've found. It's considerably thicker than what Pyrex offers. Some may find this a drawback because it weighs more. But, if it lasts longer, I'm all for it. I have other Anchor Hocking pieces and they have never had a thermal crack. I can't say the same for other brands that I've had. The lids on this set fit surprisingly tighter than the similar Pyrex pieces I have. Before I bought these, I was planning on getting aftermarket silicone lids, but I don't think that will be necessary unless the stock lids stretch or crack over time. I also considered brands that had latches with removable gaskets. But cleaning all the cavities, crevices, and parts seemed like a hassle. The navy blue lid color is a beautiful dark blue gray that looks very sophisticated. It's darker than Pyrex's more primary blue. This is a visually stunning set. The round sizes are also perfectly stepped and nest nicely. Eventually, I will be getting a small set of the rectangular shapes for sliced entrees. Overall, I'm really impressed.

I really like the way they’re made seemed really sturdy. I’m anxious to get rid of plastic containers and go to glass. I’m a little confused about whether I can go from freezer to microwave in the book. It says you can’t but I when I I asked the question it said you could and others say they are doing it

I bought this set because of the news I've read about the dangers of micro plastics and how they are released from plastic storage containers and bottles. It was great to find these Anchor Hocking glass storage containers on Amazon. After they arrived, I was impressed with the quality. They are heavy gauge and the lids fit very well. I found no imperfections in the glass itself and both the lids and containers are dishwasher safe. It's also great to support an American company that produces such good quality items!

My mother-in-law introduced me to these when she brought something over for a family meal, and I loved them so much that I immediately bought my own set and tossed out all my old plastic containers. No more gross, stained plastic for me!They’re microwave safe, which is a huge plus, and they just look so much better in my fridge when storing leftovers. Sure, they take up a bit more storage space than stackable plastic, but they still store well – and honestly, they’re completely worth it. I feel like I’ve upgraded to proper adult food storage.
