UPDATE 12/16/25 So a little over one month and it's still working perfectly. Lights are as bright as ever so batteries are doing the job. Whenever I pass by the room and look to the back wall where it's on a bookcase shelf - and I know this is kind of crazy, but seeing those large bright green numbers gives me a lot of pleasure. Part of that pleasure is because I recently had cataract surgery (one eye so far) and being able to see anything that far away is nothing short of a blessing. And also because I love the color green. Very happy with this purchase. Just got this yesterday. Of course I can't comment yet on the longevity so my rating is provisional, but my first impression is: What a nice little clock. It's exactly what I wanted. I chose the green digits and that's a nice /change from the kind of worn out looking red digits on the very very old clock we were replacing. The lights can be dimmed if wanted or necessary and so that's a good thing, although I like the lighting as bright as possible. The other thing I like is that it's battery operated and so doesn't take up an outlet. I tested the alarm and it's good. However, we're not using it for the alarm. Although, you never know when you might need an extra one. The clock is lightweight, but it's not flimsy and easily sets up. I did have to take a peek at the instructions for how to set the time. But it's a cinch. The other thing I like is that it's actually very cheerful to look at. Nice big numbers in a lovely bright green. Kind of like Christmas. All in all I think this is a very good purchase and hope it lasts a long time. Don't see why it wouldn't, but you never know. For now it's a big 5 stars. Time will tell, literally.

This is a really nice battery operated clock. The numerals are large and easy to see and the automatic dimmer keeps them from lighting up the room at night. Setup was a breeze and it’s nice not to have to fight with my bed’s headboard to reach an outlet.

Finally the bedside clock that I have been waiting for. Battery-operated, so the clock is not affected by power outages. Easy to set. Clear instructions. No WiFi required! Very readable and clear display. . Perfect in every way. I could not be more pleased with this item.

I bought this to replace a clock radio with too much emf being emitted next to my head. Actually, I noticed the difference right away once it was removed. The clock is basically everything they say it is here on Amazon. The large numbers are really easy to read in the dark. The snooze works great and goes on forever. Volume is adjustable. This is one of those purchases I will be happy about for a long time to come.

This is a great clock! I bought it for my 93 year old mother, who has a hard time seeing our kitchen clock. This did the trick! The numbers are large snd very easy to see.

This is a pretty, day or nightime clock, complete with alarm! Started dimming after one month and hit jest kept gittin worse and worst! Goes through sets of batteries quickly!
