Overall it’s great but would prefer if it were waterproof..only downside to this product other than that…thumbs up

My husband has been using this for 2 months and currently on the second bottle. Firstly it runs out too quickly and secondly I haven’t seen much a difference on the hair. However he will give it till 3 months to know any difference.

The product comes in a small container with a screw top. The fibres are dispensed through a top resembling a pepper pot. I’d say it’s impossible to apply the product by yourself. In my case I have an understanding and obliging wife who was prepared to apply the fibres to the top of my thinning crown. The powder-like substance will get everywhere if you don’t take the necessary precautions. There was a lot of patting of the top of the head involved and you're pretty much at the mercy and skill of the person doing it for you. After application, the slightest touch lifted some of the fibres back to your fingers, but I didn’t have access to a recommended fixing spray. In terms of effectiveness, it’s very dependent on what you’ve got to work with. In my case, I’ve always had very fine hair and have been quite thin on top for many years, I’ve attached some pictures of before and after which probably don’t look that great, but my wife did say in reality the effect looked much better. In short, difficult to apply, very current hair style and texture dependent for a reasonable covering. The colouring was described as dark brown, but I would say almost black in appearance. If it works for you, recommended, but in my case, that of an older person with grey and very thinning hair, it wasn’t the best result.
