Premium Non-Slip Yoga Mat - Sustainable Jute & Natural Rubber Ethical Eco Yoga Exercise Mat

I teach a lot of hot yoga, and I need a mat that can hold up to regular heavy use. I love brands like manduka, but for heated, the natural rubber has a grip threshold in heavy sweaty conditions. I tried the liforme last year, and loved it for 4 months until it lost it's grip and started degrading...after 4 months!! I love natural rubber for many reasons, but I needed something that can also handle sweat. The woven jute face was appealing because it adds a little texture and absorption when a plain rubber mat would start getting slick. So far so good. I've been teaching on this mat for the past week, and after a few days of feeling it slip when the sweat hit, my last couple classes have felt like it's starting to break in and perform I hoped it would. It's natural rubber, so it does have a strong odor, whichi expected. I let it air out for a few days before I used it. It's a great weight, not too thick or thin, and the rubber feels durable enough. I'm hoping that the woven top helps keep things from wearing too quickly in high use areas. So far it's a really great mat

This mat is perfect! It is very grippy allowing you to be present for your practice instead of worrying about sliding. Beautiful color!

If you even have lightly sensitive skin, stay away from this product! Whatever material/ chemical was placed on the surface is certainly not a healthy option. The mat has a strong smell that does not go away! Horrible!

My new Favorite yoga mat! I used to be a major fan of jade mats for the grip in heated power yoga… However, I noticed that those mats tend to fall apart quickly. I've tried about every kind of mat there is on the market… Because I've been practicing yoga for almost 20 years. This one far exceeds all other mats. This mat has been amazing. Very grippy (more than any other mat) and durable. I rinse mine off almost every day and it still holds up. Also, I love the white color. It looks so nice. It does have a stronger smell… I am very sensitive to smell, so it's probably more noticeable to me than others… However, if you are super sensitive to scent, then that might be the only downside of the mat… I think it's still worth getting the mat, regardless of the smell!

This mat is grippier than any regular lightweight foam mat I’ve used, which is great since the bottoms of my feet tend to get sweaty. I leave this out in a designated area of my home, and it looks great and stays put even with a pet around (though she largely ignores it). It had a pretty strong rubbery smell the first couple of days, which then dissipated quickly. It is also fairly heavy, so it may not be ideal for carrying back and forth to class, but as a home yoga mat, it’s a good choice.

The mat is amazing, far better than my more expensive, not so grippy ( even though it's meant to be ) pro mat. I loved that the packaging was eco friendly, no plastic in sight! The room I practice and teach in is carpeted and this mat didn't move when transitioning through postures that normally have me readjusting the mat every few seconds. A real investment and I could not be happier!

After searching endlessly for a yoga mat, I finally found the perfect one!
