Well made, little birds like it, good price
Well constructed. Was nice to have color options. The top is easy to remove to fill the glass dish. Small birds (chickadees, titmouse, nuthatches) went right into this feeder. Unfortunately, invasive House Sparrows can also access the peanut splits, or whatever I place in the dish. This is not the feeder's design fault. House Sparrows are slightly smaller than bluebirds, so other than going to a 1&1/8" grid, the sparrows will get in. But that small size would also prevents bluebirds from entering. The remaining blackbirds have not been able to reach in and steal peanuts splits. Hopefully any stray Starlings will also be thwarted. My blues are not interested in this feeder, but I'm guessing if this was nesting season, the bluebirds would be more inquisitive. They are accustomed to the homemade mealworm feeder I built them. The dish provided with this feeder is deep enough so medium to large mealworms can't climb out. However, I only feed small and medium mealies. Large size mealworms are given growth hormone to increase their size quickly. I would never risk my bluebirds or herps by feeding them artificially altered large mealworms. Honest mealworm venders will tell you up front about this.

Great bluebird feeder
I live in Michigan and this feeder works great. Keeps the grackles out and conserves the mealworms for our bluebirds. Easy to fill. Luv luv luv it.

Openings too small for my chubby bluebirds.
This feeder is sturdy, well made and easy to fill. It is great for smaller birds such as finches & sparrows, but the openings are not large enough to make entry and exit easy for the bluebirds that visit. I have had mine up for over a week. My bluebirds are very interested, but just flutter around it without entering. It does keep the starlings and jays out. The squirrels give up after unsuccessful attempts to get to the seed. I am looking forward to warmer weather. My bluebirds will be more active, may slim down a bit and be able to access the seed.

Great feeder
This is a great feeder. It replaces one that the squirrels took over and no longer attracted blue birds. This one keeps the squirrels out and the blue birds are back. It takes the birds a little getting use to but they eventually figure out how to get in. Seems sturdy and according to the information included with the feeder has a lifetime warranty.

Works like a charm
We were fed up with battling the starlings that had overrun our previous mealworm feeder and had crowded out our bluebirds, so we gave this feeder a try. SUCCESS!! Took the bluebirds one day to figure it out, and the starlings have almost given up trying. The feeder is well made, and is easy to refill and to clean. We like it so much we'll probably get another one!

Sturdy but cumbersome
This feeder is well made, sturdy and easy to fill. However there are some design flaws which drove the lower rating. 1- The hanging arm does not stay upright, ssoif your hanger is tall, it takes two hands to hang it- one to hold the arm up enough to catch the hanger and other to lift it up high to catch the hanger. 2- the feeding cup is small. I'm having to refill daily or every other day. 3- it is difficult to see the birds once they are inside the cage. That isn't the case with my other caged feeders.

Easy to fill!
I absolutely love the bird feeder! It is easy to fill and the dominating mockingbird who wouldn't let the other birds near the meal worms, can't get in!! I love it! He figured out how to hang on to the side and clean up the scraps, but that's ok. It's very attractive. So far the rain hasn't been able to get the meal worms wet, another plus!

Best Blue Bird feeder to purchase.
Yes it’s perfect for blue birds. My husband fills up the little bowl with mealworms and only bluebirds will eat them. It’s great and we enjoy watching the bluebirds. Easy to fill up.

Nice feeder. Only small songbirds (like a robin) can eat from it, which was exactly that I wanted.

A very well made Bird Feeder and the larger birds and squirrels can't get in. It's very easy to fill. We are very impressed with it. The only complaint is that the birds are so happy with it therefore we are having to fill it a lot more often!

It’s a beautiful colour I love the way it stops the birds the bigger birds from going inside it but the only problem I have is that I have no birds going inside it so I’m hoping it’s just because it’s winter and once the birds really realize that it’s there when it gets warmer weather, they will enjoy it without being bothered by the bigger birds like Blue Jays. this is why I bought it because the Blue Jays keep taking the food away from my chickadees and the smaller birds and I don’t find it fair so this is why I bought this one hopefully that they’ll be able to eat in peace once they realize that it’s not going to hurt them, I’m not sure if the blue is scaring them away, but I love the blue. It’s beautiful. It’s easy to open. It’s a very solid metal. It’s really nice.

Very well made out of metal feeder the glass dish is lovely and of very good quality the birds took a little while to get use to it but now i have robins blue tits and sparrows happily going in for the peanuts. Although the peanuts keeps mostly dry the surrounding base gets very wet when it rains so the roof needs to be wider its not too bad to clean its just a bit fiddly.
