Travertine Stone Coasters for Drinks Round Set of 4 Modern Marble Coaster for Home Office

The coasters came in and look as pictured which are lovely. However the point of them is to protect coffee tables etc from being damaged and being that these are stone, very rough on the edges, and do not have anything on the bottoms, they will for sure scratch any table etc you place them on. I will keep them because I like the look but fairly annoying that I know have to buy something underneath to serve the proper purpose.

Made of plain, unfilled travertine, these coasters are thick, natural stone and packed with bubble wrap to travel safely. These coasters are stone, top and bottom, without any felt or padding to keep them from scratching table surfaces. Very nice piece of travertine. Well cut, smooth surface. The only downside is that they come without any kind of padding, so you end up putting a rock on a wooden table, perhaps. I have glued some cork disks on the underside (felt pads may have worked too) and I am very happy with the resulting coasters. A really nice object, both to use and simply look at.
