If you’re interested in seeing what a renowned poet is capable of, hold out for another chance. The 1 star review comes from the book being attached from Lang Leav as an entity. She is a famous poet and is expected with some degree to have a well versed understanding of grammar or flow of text. There was more than a few times that the choice for grammatical punctuation was questionable. I did give it the benefit of the doubt that perhaps having a random comma would be for some superficial reason that I might not have considered. The flow of text, in the manner of not being meticulously selective of her word choice. This is what I hated the most. Some words had too many syllables that did not match the consistency of the sentence prior to, which made the sentence as a whole stand out. Finally, the jagged concepts that had no degree of value to the prosaic piece as a whole. There were few times that Lang would introduce a feeling, talk about an analogy, then bring up a personal experience. Normally this would not be fine, although this template is a bit jarring it can be tastefully done. The problem I had in my writing was that it seemed incredibly out of place, so much so that I circled the paragraph and sincerely questioned my reality. Perhaps this is the meaning behind being so out of touch with the poem, that Lang would want to break the 4th wall and have me question all this.

Book itself is good, Amazon packaged it terribly, book is stained and half the book was folded. Rather go to Barnes and noble to actually but a better one. Will return.
