I have just started with the product, but so far so good. I also bought the 5000mcg from this company as well because I'm pretty sure that I need more of this type of folate on a daily basis. Having the MTHFR gene, I was happy to have discovered this product. This will definitely become part of my daily regimen.

i love this product. It works much better than Folic Acid. My 90 year old mother was losing her hair and she started taking this and her hair started growing back in. I use it for hair loss too. It has slowed down my hairloss but I havent noticed my hair growing back like my mom's did on top of my head where it has thinned. Although, I do feel like my hair is thicker than before.

Based on testing, I have inefficiencies with my MTHFR genes. This product has been a lifesaver for me. I was having significant issues with depression for months. I read about this as a potential solution for those with similar genetic profiles. Literally the day I started taking this I felt AMAZING! I take this paired with a B vitamin complex and now my depression is gone and I have much more energy. In the past, I have been prescribed antidepressants and they were not effective - just left me feeling flat emotionally and out of touch, with multiple side effects. This supplement is exactly what I have been looking for. I am so glad to have found it. The company has also been very supportive of their product. They sent out an email about how to get the best effects from the supplement after it had been delivered. It talked about the dose and what to do based on how you were feeling. I thought this was a very thoughtful follow-up for someone who might be unfamiliar with how to take the supplement. Overall, this product is excellent.

Quality at a good price

2 weeks in with this supplement (along with magnesium & lions mane) and my energy, brain fog, clarity, mental capacity and short term memory have greatly improved! It is the first time I've taken a b vitamin supplement, so I have nothing to compare it to. But, due to this it has helped me tremendously. I must have been deficient in b vitamins. I definitely will be keeping this in my daily diet.

I had stated taking L-5-MTHF several days before I stated experiencing the symptoms you described. I had severe abdominal cramps, anxiety, and insomnia. If I didn't see your warning I would never have suspected the cause was the vitamin. I am not vitamin B12 deficient even if I have the marker so taking the supplement for me was a mistake.

Me and my son have the MTHFR gene mutation so I have been taking 5-MTHF for sometime with great results. My son could not settle down to sleep at night without it. I normally take the nutri-west brand I get from my chiropractor in 500 mcg dose. My son takes 250mcg. To save money I decided to try this brand. Since the label states it is 1MG it is a much higher dose than I normal take, so I opened up the capsul and took half and gave my sone 1/4th which should have been equal the the doses we were taking in the other brand. It wasn’t long before we were both having problems. So I took it into my Chirorpractor to ask him his opinion . He has a way of testing products for the best absorption. It turns out that to get the same 500mcg dose that I was getting from Nutri-west I would need to take 6 of these pills. My son would need to take 3. So I am still using up this bottle and giving my son 3 a day which has gotten hi. To start sleeping easily again. I am not going to buy this again because their advertised potency is a lie. I don’t know if it was adulterated by the seller on Amazon or if the company doesn’t make it the potency that they claim, either way it is not what it claims to be and for people who reley on methyl folate for their health this is a dangerous issue.

As someone with a genetic mutation that impacts how my body handles folate, I have found that this has helped with my cognitive and emotional functioning, albeit only a little bit. It's not a massive difference, but I find that I am generally less foggy and more able to do the things I love.
