Great kettle. Have used it almost daily for over six months and have had no problems. Easy to clean. Has auto shut off. Doesn’t take all that long to boil.

I bought this item with my own money, and this is an honest review of my experience with his item. I bought the green kettle, and it is not the bright limey color that shows. It is more of a Easter pastel green, very soft and appealing. But to be honest, LOL, I bought it for the price not for the color, although I do like the color. I was a leery of this item when I purchased it, but it was on sale for less that 16.00, and I needed a kettle that was stainless steel on the inside, had at least a 1 liter capacity, a large circumference top for getting water into it and for cleaning, a shut off feature when water comes to a boil, but light enough for me to pick up when full. This one checked all the boxes, so I purchased it. I bough this kettle on March 8, 2023. I have used this kettle not quite once or twice every single day, but close. I have seen no signs of rust. The plastic outer shell has not cracked or melted. I have had no problems with the cord or the plate it sits on. It shuts off when the water starts to boil. The top flips up nearly straight with plenty of room to get a hand inside the kettle to clean it, though if you have very large hands you might want to use a long handled brush for cleaning. There is a fill line inside on the stainless steel it is on the same side as the handle. When filled to the fill line it takes approximately 6 - 7 minutes to boil, depending on a lot of factors, such as water temp, environmental temp and etc. I usually turn it on, and do something else while it's heating up. The handle is nice and large for easy gripping. It may be suitable for those with arthritis because of the large handle with no sharp edges to dig into painful fingers. Depending on how much water placed in the kettle, it is lighter than some kettles if the same kind. If you fill it to the fill line it is still lighter than the majority of other electric kettles. The cord is not very long but you're moving only the kettle. not the base plate, it doesn't need to be very long. Do be sure not to leave it plugged in! In the instruction manual it tells you NOT to leave it plugged into the electrical socket because it isn't good for the kettle. I have followed that advise and so far I have had no problems. The on switch is in a great spot, at the top where the handle meets the main body of the kettle, so no tying yourself into knots to turn it on. It's a rocker switch so it takes only a light touch to turn it on. Again, great for those with arthritis. I have seen no signs of any of the things mentioned in previous negative reviews. This kettle so far has served me well. Make sure to register your item with the company on their website so you can take advantage of the warrantee that is longer than the return date on Amazon. So I have no complaints at all with this particular kettle. I give it 5 stars for: Function, form, ease of use, easy to clean, safety features, and weight when full.

I love the red plastic, and the ease of handling and the speed at which it gets the water to a boiling point. I bought it to use for boiling water to pour down the sinks following my pouring a half cup of to clear out the plumbing pipes. I'd always taken the lazy route in just using "hot" water, but-------wow! impressive how effective using my quickly boiled water was in the application of the organic product. It was definitely bubble bubble, no more toil and trouble and I am so glad I splurged and bought this pot to make my life a bit easier!! I use it with distilled water, to keep it in good shape because I intend to get a lot of use out of it. The only drawback is that somehow, i wish the maker could have made its plastic exterior a bit thicker somehow, and a bit more impervious to heat, because YES the pot gets really really hot itself, Otherwise it's a boon to have because it's so helpful I just make sure to always grab it via its handle, I still noticed the heat, but am mindful of my grip. I feel overall that it was proved to be a worthy investment! Size wise, it's super easy to store, on a special shelf just under my bathroom sink.

I just got this to replace a 7 year old Amazon brand stainless kettle that I’m retiring to the camping box. I love the color, style and boil speed may be more than my older one, but still can’t beat a fast kettle when you need one.

Works like a champ, makes the water very hot very quickly. I often don't let it get to auto shut off because the water is too hot for my preference at that point. It's incredibly easy to clean, I do wish the top hole was a little wider for cleaning purposes. I read a lot of the reviews before my purchase, and in my experience it doesn't discolor except for the typical build up from our hard water. A little vinegar regularly clears it right up. Another review I saw mentioned the steam escaping from the on/off switch. The switch is close to the lid hinge and a few times I almost burned my thumb because I had my thumb over the hinge seam when I pouring the water. I would expect steam to escape from there and I no longer hold the kettle that way and no more issues. I think perhaps that maybe to others it seemed to come from the switch but it was actually the lid hinge. My only complaint is the cord. It's white and doesn't match the kettle and is very heavy duty and stiff. It makes it a little hard to neatly wrap the cord and stow it away, but I love the kettle anyhow and would recommend it to anyone looking for one.

UPDATE: I was truly enjoying this kettle until suddenly the ON button would not light up. I have no explanation for this. So disappointed because it worked so well up till now and suddenly i need to buy another. I've tried to contact the manufacturer but i could not reach them by phone. NO SUPPORT WHATSOEVER FROM THE COMPANY. I loved this color but i don't intend on buying another Ovente. I cannot recommend this kettle!! ORIGINAL REVIEW: I've been using this every day since purchase and i absolutely love it! Boiling water has never been such a breeze. It's super sturdy and the color is so nice. The only small issue is one that many seem to have, the stains at the bottom from the heat, but i just add some vinegar and clean it every week or two and it seems to do the job. It's really an amazing product!

I love the size and shape. The ease of use is wonderful. Right now, my only complaint is that the green on screen looks like AppleGreen. I'm really it is Minty Green. I'm keeping it, but souls have searched longer for Apple Green..js

El color es muy bonito. Yo adquiri la verde. Pensé que sería un color muy cítrico pero no, fue mejor, su color es más tenue, pero no es pálido, más tipo "Pistache". Luce fantástica en mi cocina y además, es de excelente calidad. Toda ella me encanto!!! ♡

Sumamente práctica, fue un regalo y están muy contentos por que siempre que se ocupa agua caliente para preparar alimentos o para el cafe o el té calienta muy rápido. facil de usar

La compre por seguridad con mi hijo que no se fuera a quemar y hasta conmigo misma, leí reseñas de otras hervidoras donde es muy fácil quemarse, está casi no se calienta por fuera, su base es giratoria, no hay resistencias en contacto con el agua, Por dentro es acero inoxidable, el cable es grueso pero lo hace resistente no se va a doblar o a romper y una vez caliente se separa de la base y es una jarra muy linda que se puede poner en la mesa por que mantiene por mucho tiempo el calor.
