I'm a bit of a projector geek. I've had the original Nebula Capsule, the Nebula Capsule Max, Nebula Capsule ii and Nebula Capsule 3 Laser. I've also owned an Xgimi Halo and other projectors from Benq, Elephas, Viewsonic and Optoma. I've always enjoyed the Anker projectors I've had as they have been well built and reliable with good customer service. My only gripe with the ones I've had was a lack of brightness, though the NC 3 was pretty bright! I decided to purchase the Mars 3, having been given a £180 pre order discount and a further £50 off. It arrived today and I was able to quickly set it up and test it. Is it well built?...Yes. Very. Its a hefty lump, weighing over 6kg so can double as a kettle bell if you want to build up your biceps. Is it bright?... Yes, definitely. Perfectly watchable 100ins picture in daylight with my thin curtains drawn. In darkness, the picture is exceptional and sharp and crisp with beautiful colours. Does it sound good?. Yes. A surprising amount of bass and plenty loud enough. Watching Star Trek: Strange New Worlds on Paramount+, I think the neighbours were engaging shields and setting phasers to stun as they must have thought they were under attack from Klingons. I'm very happy with this projector. It's not cheap..I'm hoping I can buy my granny back from Honest Bob's Pawn Shop ... if I win the lottery, that is. But for a projector geek like myself, I'm like a dog with two tails. Thankyou, Anker. 4 and a half stars because no matter how great something is, there must always be room for improvement. Even with Anker....but im rounding up to 5! I'd also just like to add that Anker's Customer Support is exceptionally good and very prompt. I had a query about a tiny issue and it was resolved immediately.

Robust and sturdy, this gives excellent picture quality and the ability to adjust screen size etc. There was a slight problem with the first one but this firm were a delight to deal with and sent a new one out promptly, which has worked really well. Can stream content from my phone well - important as it does not have BBC or ITV capability. It does have Pluto and UK TV play. It also works well with lap top to play dads. Image is very good.

I ordered this item on the 13th may, it is now the 29th May and it still hasn't arrived. I have contacted Anker multiple times, it appears their courier UPS is having widespread problems with Anker problems and labelling their items as hazourdous. Anker say they have a team dealing with this but after 16 days my projector is still in Tamworth UPS depot. Anker do respond to messages but simply won't speak with my local UPS branch to resolve this, likewise UPS won't speak with Anker. Anker refuse to send out a replacement until the current item is scheduled to be returned. So I'm stuck in limbo, and likely will be until the 30 day limit for ups is reached and they return the item. I would urge you not to buy with Anker at this moment - may 2025 until these issues are resolved.

Extremely portable, very good picture highly recommend this product

The projector itself is a fantastic product with a build quality that feels similar to what you would expect from a Sony DSLR, the buttons on the top feel sturdy and plush, the lense cover on the front slides up and down to a soft close rather than a dead plastic on plastic stop. The aesthetics of the projector are pleasant with a glowing red surround on the start up, the back lighting on the buttons gives the feeling that the projector has been well designed and thought out! We use the projector when we are away camping and at home in the bedroom, the portability of the projector is great and the back light is very handy to have on while you’re camping! We find the best use for the back light is at night in the bedroom as we have a newborn which makes bottle feeds at night nice and easy. The adjustable stand at the front and automatic keystone is handy as you can perch the projector at any place in a room and it simply adjusts itself for a perfect square screen! The bad points are the limitations of the operating system which I’m sure that these issues will be resolved in future updates, the operating system is android TV which obviously downloads android TV apps which means apps like Prime Video, Netflix, Apple TV and so on do not allow you to download content to watch while you do not have access to Wi-Fi while camping. I’ve found taking my tablet with my movies pre downloaded then just connecting up to the projector tackles this issue well and the fact that the internal storage on the projector isn’t huge anyway. It would of been amazing if they had designed the projector with a C type USB for charging but the charger is well designed and sturdy.

Initially takes some time to set up, but once you up and running very easy to use. Picture quality is great. Can be used during the day but may struggle indirect sunlight. Worth the money.

Netflix app is poor and auto screen can be buggy

Ich bin in dem Gebiet komplett neu und unerfahren. Bis auf den ollen Beamer in der Schulzeit habe ich noch nie mit Beamern zu tun gehabt. Entsprechend fiel es mir am Anfang auch ein wenig schwer den Beamer richtig einzustellen. Die automatische Trapezkorrektur funktioniert bedingt gut. Auch das Fokussieren ist okay, aber benötigt vielleicht noch ein wenig manuelle Feinkorrektur. Nach 15min hatte ich es aber begriffen wie es funktioniert und die Bedienung läuft gut. Der Beamer läuft mit Android. Entsprechend ist das Menü und der ganze Aufbau wie bei einem Android Smartphone. Viel wichtiger ist aber, dass Funktionen wie "Assistent" (Sprachsteuerung), Google Play und Apps (nicht alle; siehe unten) auf dem Gerät laufen. Praktisch. Netflix ist über einen EIGENEN AppStore (Nebular Play) installierbar und nicht über Google Play. Die Navigation ist furchtbar. Zudem können wir die Untertitel nicht abschalten (wo kommen die überhaupt her? Auf Netflix sind die deaktiviert und Google Bedienungshilfen sind ebenfalls deaktiviert). Andere Streamingdienste sind direkt über Google Play herunterladbar und gut über die Fernbedienung bedienbar. Die Auflösung ist nach unserem Geschmack sehr gut (wir haben das Bild an eine ca 1,5m hohe und 2m breite Wand geworfen). Die Helligkeit ist auch bei Dämmerung gut (eco modus). Akkulaufzeit können wir noch nicht beurteilen, da das Gerät neu ist. Ton ist ebenfalls super. Wie gesagt, wir sind keine Beamer-Spezialisten, aber als Neueinsteiger bzw. Normalo bin ich sehr zufrieden. Für den Preis ist das Gerät und seine Funktionen (Akkubetrieb, outdoor-fähig, integrierte Lautsprecher, Internet Apps/ Streaming über das Gerät) super.

Habe den Mars3 jetzt eine Woche in Betrieb. Lieferung schneller als erwartet. Beim Transport ist scheinbar die Linsenabdeckung aufgegangen und der Beamer hat sich in der Verpackung eingeschaltet. Der Lüfter konnte die Abwärme natürlich nicht weiterleiten und somit war der Mars3 beim auspacken ziemlich warm. Die Erstinbetriebnahme ging zügig, inkl. Anmeldung alles benötigten Dienste. Die WLAN Verbindung sagte jedoch beim zweiten Start nur eingeschränkte Netzwerkverbindung. Habe keinen Fehler gefunden und einfach das Gerät noch einmal auf Werkseinstellung gesetzt und neu installiert. Seitdem läuft alles stabil. Keine Abbrüche mehr. Den Akku habe ich mehrfach aufgeladen und entladen - die Laufzeit hat sich nach dem dritten Mal deutlich gesteigert. Nun zum wichtigen: Sonnenuntergang (ca. 20:00 Uhr) Beamer auf den Tisch, Leinwand aufgestellt, Klappe runter und 30 Sekunden (andriodTV läd alle Inhalte), automatische Bildeinstellung und los gehts. Man ist also in 3-5 Minuten komplett startklar, ohne Kabelsalat. Der Sound ist vollkommend ausreichend und überzeugt. Jemand mit Nachbarn kann sich mehr Sound auch gar nicht leisten. Am ersten Abend überraschte uns auch sofort ein Gewitter. Der Abbau ist genial. Klappe zu, integriertes Licht an, Leinwand zu, Tisch abräumen und fertig. War im alten Stting deutlich stressiger und zeitintensiver. Zweiter Abend: Große Leinwand (200) aufgebaut. Klappe auf, automatische Bildeinstellung okay (hier hab ich manuell etwas nachgeholfen, auch unkompliziert), per Bluetooth zwei soundcore Boom gekoppelt und Start. Was soll ich sagen, es war ein super Outdoor Kino 🍿 Erlebnis ohne Kabelsalat. Indoor: wie lange hält der Beamer in Dauerbetrieb durch und hört man dann irgendwann den Lüfter? Ergebnis: Der Mars3 hält länger durch als ich 😂. In diesem Setting hab ich ihn per Aux über die Steroanlage laufen lassen. Auch hier ein absolutes Erlebnis. Anschluss einer externen Quelle: Apple TV, Festplatte mit alten Filmen usw. alles problemlos. Übertragung per AirPlay stabil, selbst ⏭️ per Fernbedienung kein Problem. Integrierte stufenlose Höhenverstellung hält die Position. Kein absacken im laufenden Betrieb. Aufstellen per Stativ auch schnell realisierbar, aber für meinen Anwendungsbereich nur nice to have. Zusammenfassend ✅ tolles Bild (Kino halt, kein OLED TV) ✅ ausreichend Sound (wer mehr braucht kann alles anschließen, Bluetooth war Lippensynchron) ✅ AndriodTV bietet alle notwendigen Anwendungen (flüssiger ist Apple TV, aber das ist reine Gewohnheit) ✅ Auf- und Abbau schnell und praktisch ✅ Akkulaufzeit überzeugt (Filme über zwei Std. lieber Strom griffbereit, oder in Eco-Modus gehen und dunkleres Bild akzeptieren) ✅ Lüftergeräusch leise (ich nehme den Lüfter nur bei Stille wahr, sobald der Ton läuft merke ich nix mehr) ✅ Bedientasten am Gerät sehr praktisch. Joystick super Idee. Anzeige für Akkusstand und Möglichkeit den Modus einfach zu wechseln ohne die Fernbedienung zu suchen ist genial. ❌ An die Fernbedienung muss ich mich erst gewöhnen. Sie ist mir zu leicht und im dunklen sind die Tasten etwas schwer zu erfühlen. Gewohnheitsache halt. Wer etwas für spontanes Outdoor Kino 🍿 oder mal schnell Indoor aufbauen möchte, hat hier genau das richtige Gerät gefunden. Die Leistung ist völlig ausreichend und übertrifft meine Erwartungen eines 1000 ANSI Lumen LED Beamers. Klar gibt es bessere, aber in der Preisklasse? Dafür gibt es TV Geräte 😉 Ich bin äußerst zufrieden und hoffe lange Spaß mit dem Mars3 zu haben.

Der NEBULA Mars 3 Beamer hat meine Erwartungen übertroffen. Mit 1000 ANSI-Lumen liefert er selbst bei Dämmerung ein beeindruckend helles und klares Bild. Die automatische Bildanpassung funktioniert hervorragend, und der integrierte Akku ermöglicht bis zu 5 Stunden ununterbrochenes Streaming. Dank Android TV sind Streaming-Dienste wie Netflix und YouTube direkt verfügbar. Der Beamer ist robust gebaut, leicht zu transportieren und ideal für Outdoor-Nutzung. Ich möchte ihn nicht mehr missen!

Wenn man einen Projektor für Outdoornutzung ordert der mit 1200 Euro nicht günstig ist, wenn dieser Projektor 5 Std. Akkulaufzeit haben soll aber nach 90 Minuten schlapp macht dann ist die Enttäuschung groß.
