For reference, my skin type is oily, and this cleanser has honestly been a game changer for me. It keeps my skin feeling clean without stripping it, which is hard to find with acne products. Even though it targets breakouts, it’s still moisturizing and helps protect my skin barrier instead of leaving it tight or irritated. It’s very gentle and works well for daily use, including morning and night. My skin feels noticeably softer after washing, not dry or squeaky. It does a great job cleaning off oil and buildup, and my face actually feels fresh afterward. I also haven’t had any issues with leaking from the bottle, which is a nice bonus. Overall, my skin feels clean, balanced, and calmer since using this, and it’s easily become a staple in my routine.

I love this wash! It’s a fair price and works great. I have oily skin and prone to zits and redness. So only thought an expensive solution would work but I got tired of paying lots of money. So I decided to try this and it works better than the other kind I was using. My face is less red and my skin tone looks nicer. I really love it! My face feels really clean. It lasts a long time and it doesn’t have a strong smell. It spreads around easily so you only need a little bit.

I'm always amazed that such a great product for your skin isn't an insane amount of money. Every dermatologist I've ever been to recommends CeraVe for your face. It cleans well without drying out my skin and takes off my makeup with out needed a scrub. I keep one bottle in my shower and one on my counter.

I have oily, acne-prone skin, so I chose this gel because it's a well-known brand. I've been using it for several days now, and I can say that it removes almost all the oil from my face, to the point that it dries out my skin and can even be abrasive. I don't recommend using it daily if you find it too drying. Currently, I use it 3 to 4 times a week and alternate it with a milder gel. It leaves your skin feeling completely clean, but also dry after a few days, even after applying moisturizer.

Best of the best. I’ve struggled with acne my entire life, and I’m 34. Enough was enough. I can’t use benzoyl peroxide - it makes me break out wise. So I tried this. It smells good, it’s a smooth texture that sudses up pretty well, and it doesn’t have much of a smell. The smell it does have is light and faint. My acne has never been better. It cleans well and prevents breakouts much better than other products I’ve used before, and it doesn’t over-dry my skin like a lot of other products do, especially when you use this in combination with other cerave skincare products. It also contains ingredients to help restore your skins natural barrier which helps your skin look better and stay healthy. This works great as a part of your regimen.

This and the benzol one are my two faves I get hormonal breakout with regular space ones when I have my monthly visit from mother nature lol but here's the thing using salicylic during is better the benzoyl peroxide it's gentler and on top of that this salicylic product has been better than many I have tried in the market that are pricey even same with ceraves benzol wash 10% and it is also because each one treats different acnes my cystic like ones a randomly get I start with bezol is what I fight my hormonal acnes but salicylic ceravae helps with my bacteria build up and normal acne so choose what works best for me I love to pair this with the ceravae benzoyl 10% too

I can't say if it was this that has stopped my severe cystic acne or not. I have been using it two weeks and have had a recent flare of my acne for the last 6 months and it was only getting worse. My skin is clear and is now healing. It doesn't dry my skin out and is very likely doing something as i had previously bought a similar product with the same active ingredient and it helpt. I don't agree with over loading your skin with different products during these episodes so i use it with a good moisturising cream and treclin for the scarring. If you have oily type skin and have acne give this a go.

Just make sure to monitor how your skin reacts initially, since the salicylic acid can cause mild tightness or purging. For me, it really helped, and I’ll likely keep using it.
