I grew up playing with one of these and wanted to pass along the experience to my kids. I couldn't be more thrilled with the experience it has provided! This toy has brought endless joy and excitement to our home. First and foremost, the assembly was straightforward. The instructions were clear, and the pieces fit together perfectly. Be gentle! Within minutes, we had a fully functioning race track ready for action. Overall, this slot car race track set is a fantastic toy that promises hours of entertainment and fun. It's well worth the investment for any family looking to create lasting memories and enjoy some high-speed racing action. What earns the five stars all the way for me is the criss cross to knock cars off when racing the kids.

The red car doesn't work out of the box. How can I get a replacement? I contacted the seller about the car not working and they were excellent! They didn't argue with me at all, but have me the choice of a refund or four brand new cars free of charge. I opted for the cars as my son was in love with his new toy. They promptly shipped the cars expedited, and I received very quickly and all four cars work. This track provides hours of fun for my car loving 6 year old. The track and cars are not cheaply made, but the opposite! The pieces are very easy to put together; my only complaint is the guardrails are difficult to snap on, they come off easily, and the feet can break if you fail to put them on carefully. If you're child loves cars, I highly recommend this track and company.

This was a fun toy for my 4+ year old. He loves cars and was excited to open this toy. The toy works, but it can easily become a slight hassle that a younger child doesn't easily understand. 1. Assembly - This is tricky, and will require an adult. You have to be careful aligning the aluminum track part to push the pieces together. I had a couple bent right away, and had to use a small screw driver to help form them back into shape and into place. They easily pop out and twist/move. 2. There are small brushes on the bottom of the cars. These have to be constantly adjusted when the cars fly off the track or are removed. They make the connection to the aluminum track pieces to allow them to move. If they don't make good connection, the car will jerk, not move at all, or move slower. 3. The track supports for the incline/decline are easy to bump when you are re-aligning cars, etc. This causes track sag and you have to slide them back in. I wish they had a better connection setup that would click/snap into place accordingly. 4. The power cord is short. You'll want an extension cord, or you'll be stuck near the wall to access the outlet. These are mostly minor grievances, and the toy provided a good bit of fun and excitement.

My grandson absolutely loves this. We've had so much fun racing each other.

This thing is useless. Nothing will keep these cars on the track no matter what. Update: One remote broke in the first hour of trying to get it to function correctly and will not work on either side of the track

It was easy to put together. The grand boys played with it for hours without it being destroyed. The quality is great. They love it. We need to purchase more cars for them.

It is a good solid track and the cars are fast with 4 metal contact strips on each car. Very good set for the price.
