Shower Head, Magichome High Pressure Shower Head with 5 Spray Modes, Turbocharged Design Powerful Shower Heads for Low Water Pressure

First some info on my system for context and reasons for buying. I have a Combi Boiler and live in a flat. The water pressure has always been ok. I also have a water filter attached, one of those 20 stage cartridge types which fit in line between the tap itself and the shower hose. Reason for purchase. Wife was getting skin flare ups on her face that looked like Rosacea and old shower heads can be the cause for build up of stuff from hard water and so forth. This purchase appears to have resolved that issue unless it is a massive coincidence that has been happening all week. The water itself feels much better too for some reason. Product review. Firstly, it is as easy to fit as you could possibly want. The threads are standard size. It does indeed increase the water pressure by a non trivial amount. I have to open the tap 40 to 50% less than before to achieve the same water pressure. For those of you with Combi boilers youll know that this is an advantage for heating, since this means the actual flow rate behind the shower head is slower as a result, making the water hotter overall as Combi boilers heat slower moving water better. So not only do I need to open the tap about 50% less, but being a mixer type tap, I need to move it into the hot water position about 40% less as well to achieve the same level of heat from my water. So overall the product appears to do exactly what it advertises and will likely pay itself off in what I save in water this year. The different 3 settings work well though thats a matter of personal taste the setting you prefer. The item itself is also decent, feels of reasonably good quality and looks decent too. I recommend and give it 5 stars because it does everything it says it does, it is exactly what is advertised and at a very reasonable price. Packaged well too.

Wasn’t sure this would help with the low pressure of my electric shower but I was astonished at how much impact it did have ! Great shower head and hose which looks far more expensive than it is and, more importantly, it actually does what it says in the description ! I ordered this Magichome Shower Head and Hose 2M, attracted by its promises of high pressure and turbocharged design. While it looks lovely and boasts a sleek chrome finish, it does absolutely nothing to improve the pressure of my shower. All these shower heads claim to increase water pressure, but the reality is that a shower head cannot change the pressure of the water flow. Regardless of how many holes there are or how many features a head has, it’s just not possible. What you gain from the illusion of high pressure with fewer holes, you lose in the spread of water. It no longer feels like you’re having a proper shower but rather standing under a hose. Despite its shortcomings, the shower head feels well-made. The chrome finish is aesthetically pleasing and adds a touch of elegance to the bathroom. The head features five different spray modes, but all of them are pretty useless if your water pressure is low. I found myself using the widest mode to let the most water out, as the smaller modes just dribble. In terms of value for money, it's affordable and feels sturdy, but don't expect miracles with water pressure. The packaging was neat, and the delivery was prompt, which is always a plus. However, having tried many of these so-called high-pressure shower heads, I can confidently say they do nothing to solve low water pressure issues.

Bought this shower head to replace my old, very well used one and I’m extremely impressed with the quality of this one, much better than the one which came with the shower. What I particularly like is the ease with which you can easily slide the little device which switches between different spray modes, particularly the high pressure mode which is great. Looks great and works really well.

The head constantly dripped when not in use. It was definitely the head and not the shower or hose as it didn’t happen with the old head, and tested it by filling the head with water in the sink and watched the water just drip drip drip drip out the head. Other than that, was a reasonably ok shower head but I couldn't stand the dripping. I’m hind sight should have returned it but ended up throwing it away as have purchased a whole new electric shower.

I have an electric shower, and when one puts the water hotter, the pressure goes down. I think it's like this with all electric showers. However, with this shower head, the pressure stays the same regardless. It's perfection! Showers don't feel like such a chore with this.
