Works with Skinner rear Peep Sight on Henry H001 rifle
I already had the standard version of this sight (non-magnum) on my Henry H001 .22 LR. Worked great but did not jive with my new Skinner rear peep sight (receiver mounted, needed to drill holes). The problem that many folks run in to when installing the rear peep sight is that even screwed all the way down to it's lowest possible setting the POI is high. This magnum version fixes that problem. It's an exact fit for the non-magnum Henry's but the sight is slightly taller (allowing for the straighter/longer magnum round). It's a simple solution if you wish to use a F/O front sight with the Skinner sight.After installation I had to adjust the peep sight about 1.5 or 2 full rotations 'UP" (counter-clockwise) and POI was right at POA at ~30 yards, leaving room for adjustment as needed in the future.

This was easy to install and fit perfectly. An upgrade I appreciate and if you are looking for this change in your front sight, this product will get do the job with the quality you expect and hope to get.

Dot size
Great and easy to install, but the glowing dots are pretty big, not for long or mid range

Great to use with Hi-Viz uni2006 on Henry
I paired this sight with the Hi-Viz rifle/shotgun rear sight (uni2006) and both pieces installed easily on my Henry .22 mag lever action (H001M). This sight came with one screw but I did not need it as I just re-used the two stock screws that came out of the stock barrel band. It's a good sight and comes with several other light sticks that easily interchanged. I used the red post as it contrasts well with the green posts on the rear sight. Good sight and big improvement over the stock sight system.

Does not fit
I bought a new Henry H001M at bass pro. I ordered the sight and it did not fit. Looking at the Henry website it looks like the front sight set up has changed compared to what I bought. My rifle does not have the ring around the barrel and tube.

Works fine for all light conditions (except night)
The sight is great. Removing the screws was not real easy, they used a bit too much locktite, finally got them out, but scratched up the screws a little.The sight goes on easily, and for me it is easier to see the target.

dim, dull
Not bright. Compared to other brands the beads are dim. The finish on these is not as nice as the oem part.If you are buying for adding a peep sight on a Henry 22 you will need a much taller front sight. You can have your original cut for dovetail sights by Skinner as cheap as this product.

Better sight picture
Fits great after removing your original Henry site; be careful as they are different for 22 LR and 22 WMR and I’m not sure which rifle I installed this on as I have both; a much better site than the factory one; very satisfied
