Salicylic Acid 17%

UPDATED REVIEW 7/20/25 I changed this to 5 stars. I’m grateful the company allowed for a replacement product. I’ve already used the entire replacement bottle and just ordered 2 more. This product is fantastic and does an excellent job exfoliating. It’s gentle but powerful enough to see great results. Thank you!! Questionable efficacy. I’ve used other brands Salicylic acid at a lower percentage and those did more for my skin than this one. This product has not shown to peel or exfoliate at all. When neutralizing, there’s no reaction. Almost like there’s nothing to neutralize. I’ve left this product on different parts of my skin for different amounts of time to test its strength. . 1 minute all the way to 2 hours. This was a waste of money. I had hopes of mixing this into a cream but it doesn’t do anything. Don’t buy this.

Recently I had a large brown "age spot" grow on my forehead which became rather unsightly. My Doctor said it was not cancerous and was just a growth, so I would have to pay out of pocket for a Dermatologist. After doing some online research I purchased this product and applied some every night before bed with a Q-tip and let it set for a couple of minutes. I then rinsed the spot with water and applied a retinol serum followed by a retinol cream. After about 6 weeks the spot slowly peeled away and revealed new normal skin. While there is still a very slight blemish remaining, it is hardly noticeable and my forehead looks way better now. I am very pleased with this product and only wish that I had discovered it much earlier.

This stuff works! I was in shock. I have bad sun spots from years of sun worshipping and this has actually faded and gotten rid of most of them. I was probably overusing it and it burned and I had horribly dry and flaky skin but the new skin is now smoother and brown spot free :D Also good with my son's pimples/blackheads.

Bought this product for killing warts even though the pictures implied (and reviews revealed) that customers were using it for chemical peels. The 17% salicylic acid in it is the active ingredient in commercial wart treatments except that companies like Compound W add so much ethyl to their solutions that it dries in the bottle when opened only a handful of times. Unfortunately this product comes with a dropper rather than a brush, making it hard to dab it on a specific place. It splats out and runs all over, not staying put to dry on the offending growth. The only way I could figure to build up enough salicylic acid on a wart and not to damage the adjacent skin was to first coat the healthy area around the wart with petroleum jelly, get in a position where the wart is level, then drop the acid directly and repeatedly on the wart, cleaning off what runs down onto the jelly. Alternately, maybe you could use a Q-tip? But in either case, you often have to lie flat (if the wart's on a leg or face, say) to avoid the solution running off and that may take a second person to help apply the acid in the right place. Even then, it's hard to get it to stay in position to work. So it's a loser.

Again it's the product description! I thought I was buying a regular Facial Chemical Peel solution and NOT the serum. I will try it and see what happens next. I do question and challenge the actual strength of this product ? 17% Salicylic Acid as its advertised statement disclosure says it is. Because if it really is 17% you will no doubt see and witness ASAP like by the next day within 24hrs after the 1st usage folks no lye! Standby for further product updates! No I do not get paid to test or try any product here or anywhere. Look at my long history with Amazon. i give honest reviews because I am a regular honest ethical customer! I cannot be brought or sold by anyone! It's best used as a #PrePeel days or a week before the real Professional Chemical Peel Services it most likely will prep the skin before a heavy duty peel.
