WORX WR206E Landroid Vision Robotic Lawn Mower – 600m² Patented AIA Mowing Multi-Zone, Auto Charging, 20V PowerShare Battery, Rain Sensor, Cut-to-Edge Technology, App-Controlled, Accessories Included

This is my third attempt at a robotic lawnmower over the last few years. I started of with a competitors product, also coloured orange with front wheel drive, after setting up the boundary wires and days of messing to get it right, it worked ok, but always struggled with getting over paving stones as the wire had to go underneath one (as per instructions). It would often get stuck, needing a helping hand, within a few months it broke and wouldn’t charge. I then changed to a Landroid also the boundary wire product, again lots of messing about to get the wire right, this one wouldn’t detect the wire underneath the paving slabs at all, so I had to adjust the location which left a huge gap between the edge. The problem with this mower, being rear wheel drive, it constantly got stuck, dug trenches in the garden and the battery wouldn’t even last an hour, within a month this too broke, replaced by Amazon and the replacement one was damaged. Gave up at that point and went back to the human powered mower 😄 Fast forward a few years, got this new Landroid model, an absolute game changer, no messing about with boundary wires, front wheel drive so is not getting stuck anywhere, it’s bordering on completely silent, the battery is lasting a good 2hrs. It’s so good I can pick it up and stick it on the front lawn and just press go, and it cracks on with the job until stopped. It’s just such a huge improvement, this has to be the way forward for robot mowers. If I had one gripe, it’s the cut to edge, at the moment the minimum gap that can be set in the app is 5cm, I believe this started of with 10cm when first launched. I’m sure as more people get these, Worx will update the firmware, eventually getting a really tight edge. That said 5cm isn’t the end of the world, quick run round with the strimmer and it's all sorted. It’s definitely not in the budget range this, but if you can afford it, I’d really recommend it.

As robotic mowers can be an expensive purchase I looked at several reviews, not just on Amazon, before selecting this WORX. My budget did not go to the most expensive mowers and my other preference was a mower that did not require the tedious job of laying boundary wires. The Worx looked ideal. I have to admit I have only been using it for a few days but that has been sufficient time for me to decide it won't do the job. My main lawn is around 400 m² so a mower that was suitable for 600 m² should cope easily. I set the mower up and fully charged the battery. I pressed the start button and off it went. As expected it then spent a short time moving in many random directions, leaving marks showing where it had been. After less than hour it ran out of battery so, as expected, it slowly went round the perimeter of the lawn in order to return to the charging base. It never came out again, even after fully charging. I set it off on the second day with the same results. A very short time mowing and a return to charge. Again, it never came out again to continue. I fully appreciate that some settings may need to be changed to fix this but when I tried to use my iPhone to recognise the mower's QR code it failed to do so. For this amount of money I would have thought that Worx should supply a larger battery and not the supplied 2Ah which is the smallest in their range. Regarding the actual mowing it's possible it would improve with time. However at this stage I saw it pass over daisies which remained uncut. The cutting width is quite small compared to a conventional mower so it's a slow process. With this mower my understanding is that it works best if you leave the mower out and accept that mowing is a continuous process. Maybe, eventually, the unsightly paths would disappear? I do have a remote vacuum cleaner and that works much better. (No, not as mower!) It covers the area with some logic and goes home directly. This mower needs technology like that. There is still a part of me that would like to try this for longer but I could not use it for two weeks due to rain so I have to make my decision within the Amazon return window.

Impressed - great bit of kit. Easy to set up and mower is amazing. Take your time and read instructions for set up carefully and it will be up And running in no time. Service number was good on one query I had on multiple zones. Worth every penny

Por el momento estoy encantado con él. Lo he conseguido adaptar a mi jardín, algo complicado aunque pequeño, y desde que lo puse en marcha, no he tenido que volver a echar mano del cortador eléctrico. Creo que vale lo que cuesta.

Ta kosiarka wymaga wiecej obslugi, niz zwykla elektryczna. Ilosc bledow, powiadomien i koniecznosci bycia przy niej przerasta najbardziej smiale wyobrazenia. Dla niej jest za ciemno, za garaco, brak sieci, brak przewodu ograniczajacego (chociaz jest nie potrzeny), podniesiono, otworz klape bateria to tylko z 3 godzin. Duza maszyna ma bardzo maly prominent koszenia.

Il robot funziona da un punto di vista meccanico la batteria dura poco rispetto a quello che avevo con il filo, ma il riconoscimento della striscia magnetica è degli rfid è troppo lacunoso, il taglio bordo non funziona, il passaggio sopra le lastre inesistente, spesso si confonde quando c è solo terreno e si blocca. Mi sono fidato di Works perché il precedente a filo ha funzionato egregiamente per anni, ma questo devono migliorare al più presto la parte software altrimenti non ne venderanno più.

El robot cumple su función, en nuestro caso comprado para un cesped de apenas 100m2. Viene con 3 manuales, bastante confusos entre ellos y de difícil comprensión, nos ha costado lo suyo ponerlo en marcha conectado a la app, si lo haces de manera manual no tienes problema, pulsas, metes el pin, enciendes y a cortar, pero como quieras programarlo ahí viene el problema. La primera dificultad fue definir las zonas, en nuestro caso 2 separadas por un pasillo de adoquin, en NINGUNA PARTE, pone que las zonas deban escanearse por NFC, Y te puedes volver loco intentándolo, además se desconectaba a menudo del wifi que le estabamos dando con el propio movil dado que no tenemos wifi. El corte es adecuado y el robot trabaja bien, detectando la lluvia perfectamente y volviendo a la base. Pero hay que tener en cuenta la dificultad de conexión y lo lioso que es el manual que tienes que consultar hasta tres diferentes, de aí que no le ponga 5 estrellas, los manuales parecen hechos para otro robot no para este. Por otra parte, viene con la batería mínima,lo justo para una hora, podriah haberle metido ya la de 4.0 que tiene más potencia. Recomendado eso sí, para quien lo vaya a usar de forma manual, tiene además un asa con la que puedes trasladarlo a cualquier parte. Y sin tener que preocuparse de poner cable.
