Compact and Efficient: A Great EV Tire Inflator
I’ve had this portable tire inflator for a few months now, and it's been awesome! Here's a quick review: What I Love: Quick Inflation: It pumps up tires really fast, saving me a ton of time. Portable and Easy to Use: It's super compact and easy to carry around, plus it's simple to use. Versatile: Great for car tires, bike tires, sports equipment, and even inflatable toys. Digital Display: The digital display is clear and helps set the right pressure easily. Good Battery Life: The battery lasts long enough for multiple uses, which is really convenient. Overall: This tire inflator is a fantastic tool to have. It’s reliable, efficient, and super user-friendly. It’s definitely a great buy for anyone needing a portable and effective air pump to maintain proper tire pressure!

Works as intended, but…”fast”?
The unit was worth the purchase. It does what it is intended to do. The preset for EV’s is a nice touch, and the ease of use to dial-in the desired PSI makes this almost child’s play, without the need for major instructions. The good: For what the pump does, it has a reasonable size, and the functions are clearly laid out. The flashlight is quite useful to illuminate the valve stem, which allows for easier connection of the included rubber inflation hose. Smart. The mediocre: For one, you must connect the inflator-hose to the unit FIRST, before screwing it into the valve stem. If you connect to the valve stem first, it will let out the air of the tire. In other words, the hose is a two-way hose, without a “return stop”. If your tire is already low, it will be even lower and connecting to the unit is a headache as well, when the escaping air is refusing to make the job easy. Thus, connect to unit first, then to the tire. For another, the unit is advertised as “fast”. I don’t really have a comparative to other units, other than the air-hoses at gas stations, which are much higher powered, but “fast” is still not a term that came to mind when I recently used the unit on a low front tire. To go from 25PSI to 32 PSI, took a good 6 minutes. Thankfully, it was in the garage, because the outside had -13F to offer. Not my happy place. However, if you’re in a tight spot, somewhere in the wilderness, it would still be preferential to get it done slower than not at all. Lastly, concerning noise; it’s a compressor-pump. It’s sucking and pushing air. That’s bound to be loud. It really is not an issue, unless you’re in a confined space that echoes AND you’re noise sensitive. The bad: Nothing to report. The concern is that the unit is not used often enough to determine how long it will last. Let’s hope that “Murphy’s Law” doesn’t kick in, and it fails to function when you most need it. Until then, there really isn’t anything negative to report.

Great tool to carry with, but not accurate calibration
I bought this unit for my motorcycles to carry on road trips. It works great as it's compact enough to fit in a 6L or 10L tank bag and not too heavy. The battery standby lasts over a month plus. After 2 months I charged because it went down 1 bar on the battery and that was with using it a few times in 2 months. I used to air up a spare tire for my daughter that had a flat on the road 50 psi. No issues and it still held full charge afterwards. Downside. The accuracy is way off. I recommend carrying a proper air gauge with you. I found no way to calibrate the pump in the instructions. The digital readout is off by over 30%. Air pressure is criticle for a motorcycle to get correct so I check them before every ride. When setting the correct air pressure on my motorcycle tire to 38 psi the reading in this pump says 55 psi. It's good that this will air to 150 psi because in the instant of airing up my daughter's spare to 50 psi I was well over self-adjustment of 70 psi in the unit. Also super glad you can self-adjust this unit for these errors. Other than accuracy it's a great unit.

A valuable piece of technology to keep in your car
The design of the X8 is straightforward and user-friendly. This sleek black box features USB ports on one side, and on the other, a threaded hole for air outflow accompanied by a flashlight. The side of the device boasts a directional pad and a screen that’s as large and visually appealing as the one found on the EVO 300 solar generator. The APEX also comes with a carry bag, spacious enough to store the air hose, and includes an additional pocket for Presta and needle adapters. The built-in rechargeable battery is a significant advantage. On a full charge, it can inflate up to four car tires, which is quite impressive. The inclusion of a USB-C port for charging is a modern touch that ensures compatibility with most charging cables and devices. Additionally, the compressor can function while plugged in, providing flexibility if you forget to charge it in advance. Using the compressor was a breeze. The digital display shows real-time pressure readings, and you can preset your desired pressure. Once the set pressure is reached, the compressor automatically shuts off, preventing over-inflation. This feature is particularly useful for those who may not be familiar with the ideal pressure levels for different tires and inflatables, or those who don't want to wait front of their tires until it's done inflating. The portability of the device cannot be overstated. Its compact size and lightweight design make it easy to carry around. The included carrying case adds to its portability, ensuring you can keep all the accessories together without losing any parts. Overall, the Fanttik X8 compressor is a reliable and efficient tool that every car owner should consider. Its combination of power, portability, and user-friendly features makes it an excellent choice for maintaining tire pressure and handling various inflation needs. Whether you're dealing with an unexpected flat tire or simply keeping your sports equipment in top shape, this compressor is up to the task.

No cables, No Problem!
This device exceeds expectations. Works on a Tesla Model Y 2021 with 45 PSI recommendations and a Toyota Camry with 35 PSI recommendations no problem. When I first got it I compared these reading to a reliable public tire pump in town and they were spot-on. The device holds its charge well, stores nicely in its pouch, and inflates the tires as fast as the pumps that plug into your car - on battery!! Also extremely convenient for running over and helping a friend or a stranger out. Just that tiny step of removing the friction of having to wire it to someone's center console makes such a world of difference in terms of convenience and casual feel. After a year of ownership, easy 5 stars. Will likely be buying a second one.

This nifty inflator lightens our load (and our two people tire inflation chore)
First off, I'm disabled, walk with forearm crutches due to a childhood neurological disease. Filling our tires used to require my wife following me from tire to tire, around the entire car, carrying a chair and an electrical inflator while pulling an extension cord (which seems to always get stuck under a tire as we make our rounds). I can't stand without crutches or bend over. Getting on the ground requires a call to 911 to get back up. So I sit to fill tires. We just bought an EV. None of my chucks were "threaded" type and wouldn't fit passed the aero cover and onto the valve. So I thought we'd give the Fanttik X8 Apex EV inflator a try. We love it! Its threaded chuck goes on easily with the aero covers on the EV. The nifty inflator also has an "EV" setting pre-set. My wife no longer has to pull extension cord or carry a heavy electrical inflator around the car. She does have a move the chair around with me, but hey, it's lightened our load! My only regret? I ordered the base inflator, without the heavy duty case. It comes with a cloth bag, but I fear that the inflator is going to be damaged or accidently discharged, because we will permanently carry it around in the EV. If I had it to do over again, I'd buy the Fanttik in a heartbeat. But, as I said, I'd order the hard case "packaged" deal. Don't make the same mistake.
