IT REALLY TURNED BLUE!
I’m not gonna lie, I was really skeptical about getting this and thinking it would actually do something. Well, well, well, I am no better than my kids watching it turn blue and getting excited. So here’s what I did and what I think of the taste; I used regular tap water and a medium sauce pan with the Palo Azul in it and heated it up to a boil maybe 10mins. I turned the burner off and let it sit and marinate while it cooled off. I don’t know how long it sat to cool, but I was transferring it to a plastic carafe to put it in the fridge. I wanted to try this without any sweetners or lemon 1st, so I put it in a glass of ice and you know what???!!! Not only did it still have a blue fluorescent hue, but it didn’t taste bad at all. If you like GREEN TEA, then you’ll love this. There is no weird flavor or after taste, seriously just like green tea and it was refreshing going down, ( I was just so happy it didn’t taste like wood or sticks). The color on my 1st batch was really vibrant and I drank that up in 2 days. Batch 2 was from the same stick and in the picture, you can see it was a slightly lighter but still good. So far, I’ve made 4 batches, still blue, still from he same piece of Palo Azul ( about the size of a half a piece of bacon. Lol, at least that’s how my kids described it). My son in law loves it but it flushed him out almost immediately, lol. And he kept going back for more.

Soursop tea a childhood memory
Another memory from my childhood. If I knew then what I know now I would have taken my nighttime tea without fussing. I boil the leaves, let it soak. Then I store in a bottle in the refrigerator. I add about 3 ounces to my water jug daily. I try to make enough for at least 2 weeks, but it usually last me 8 days or so. This size bag will last months as you really only need to boil a few leaves at a time to keep the freshness and potency.

Soursop leaves
Plentiful. Worth the money. I have been able to share with multiple family members and still have plenty left over for my own personal use. Only need 5-7 leaves to boil in water. Makes tea strong with small amount of leaves used.

Vibrant blue, woodsy taste
Can't tell if there are any benefits or effect yet since it's only been a week but I followed a YouTuber's suggestion to initially soak the barks I want to boil overnight first and then boil it for 30 minutes. The water does reduce quite a lot in that 30 minutes but the color is a vibrant blue. I've boiled 5 pieces and by the 3rd boil, the tea is now a light brownish reddish tint so I guess it's good for 2 boils or pots of tea. Tastes a little woodsy so I just dilute it with some hot water and it tastes like hot water with a hint of wood. I don't add sugar to my teas so this is good diluted

DO NOT BUY!
This product is very low quality. There were no instructions. Came in a plastic bag that wasn’t resealable. Did not turn the water blue at all which indicates the quality. Not worth the money. Better off finding it at a Mexican market.
