Hipshot Grip-Lock Enclosed Left Hand/Reverse 6 in line non-staggered post Chrome locking tuner

I was surprised to see universal intallation plates in the package. Designed to install the tuners w/o having to drill holes in the headstock. I tried them out and the work...I did not, however, actually use them. I thought it made the back of the headstock look cluttered in a not-so-nice way. But they include screws so I installed the conventional way. Very smooth in operation. I guessed that I needed lefty tuners for install on a reverse headstock Firebird kit....and that was correct.

Used on a reverse headstock Tele neck. I used the provided plates - which also look great. That’s all I can tell you - they fit / they work. I’m pleased.

I think Hipshot are the best locking tuners.
