STEVEN by Steve Madden Women's Vaale Sandal

I am usually a TTS fit for size 7 in shoes. Initially purchased these in a size 7, however they were too snug along the strap across the toe area as well as the straps in the ankle area. Liked the style, heel height and this shade of gold (not too overwhelmingly gold) so ended up exchanging them for 7.5 in hopes they fit better and they do. Liked these so much I also ended up getting the same style in black color.

I have really narrow feet and find great luck with Steve Madden shoes. These are fabulous. The ankle strap digs a little, but not enough to keep them in the closet. The ankle closure is nice and secure. My narrow foot feels like it will stay in place. The heel also isn't overwhelming.

How does anyone get these to not rub the back of your ankles and cause horrible blisters? I still get blisters even after having a break-in scar from the first wear. These are sexy if I wear a band aid on the back of my ankle, which isn't so sexy.

These are really cute & surprisingly comfortable! A little narrow across the front strap especially if you don't have small delicate feet...but put a couple shoe stretchers in mine and much better. These seriously are a good buy if you get the sale price...and really sharp looking!

These shoes are very stylish and comfortable. They do fit a bit tight around the ankle so I would definitely not recommend these for people with thick ankles. The heel is perfect....not too high or low. Perfect for day and night wear! :-)

They fit well but when I got them I didn't think they were fancy enough for my purposes. I returned them.

I believed I could fit this shoe but the strap that makes the "x" around the ankle is too small. I couldn't even get them on.

Wore these for a wedding and loved how they looked, but after standing for a few hours I had to switch to flip flops
