It’s a seat belt it’s great it does what it supposed to do just make sure you measure it so you get the right length remember to measure you in the chair you need a seatbelt for and it’s a great product

Works good , however the belt doesn’t hold its shape like a car seat belt. It gathers and doesn’t stay laying flat!

This is a good seat belt for our wheelchair.It's easy to install. These usually don't come with instructions, so I was surprised this one did.There are screws on the back of the wheelchair, which can be loosened. The screw then is inserted into the hold on the end of the belt and then the screw is tightened back onto the wheelchair.Caution still needs to be used when someone is in a wheelchair and we still need to be aware of their position, but this belt does help to keep them more secure.This belt opens and closes like the seat belts in our car. A simple push of the red button releases the belt.The belt is easily adjusted (one side adjusts, the other does not).I'm posting a few photos to show the installation of the belt. In one of the photos, you might notice a cushion on the side of the chair. I know it might look strange... we are using the cushion, which we had originally purchase for her to sit on, to help support my mom on that side. No matter how well she is positioned in the chair, she tends to lean to that side. If the cushion is not there, she leans WAY over the side. It's not a perfect solution, but seems to be working ok for us.

Bought this for my son's wheelchair for transportation to and from school as it was required. Was easy to install, my only complaint is when it falls down the side of the chair it can be a pain to retrieve it...

Be sure to measure before making this purchase. It was not flimsy or anything, but it is just not long enough. I made this purchase to replace the belt that broke on my mobility chair. I didn't measure and assumed this new one would be long enough. Big Mistake! It would be okay for a pediatric mobility chair or someone small. Even if you have a teenie waist (adult), I think that you would have a problem when you wear a jacket or a coat. Luckily, I was able to just swap the buckle and the hardware from this new one. The plastic casing around the old buckle is what broke. For 10 bucks, I didn't sweat it, I was glad that my brother observed that they could be swapped and I'm happy to be secured in my mobility chair again.

I worked a long time to replace the safety belt on my husband's wheelchair. And discovered the buckle doesn't buckle! After even more work to take it off for replacement, I discover the replacement policies for DMI, also known as Live Health Smart, are as faulty as the merchandise. Shipping costs would double the price of a replacement that might be another piece of junk. BEWARE

Bought this to keep my mom from tipping out of the wheel chair if it hits an unexpected bump. It was easy to install and works like a car lap belt.

Went on the wheelchair easily. Strap is plenty long and the buckle ends up in front so it is easy to buckle. I read reviews on one seat belt that said that the buckle ended up down by the person's side making it hard to reach. I haven't had this problem with my mother at all. She feels much more secure since her legs are weak and she tends to slide forward. I suppose it also makes me feel more secure knowing that I'm not going to have to worry about trying to get her back in the chair if she slides out.

My wife fell forward out of her wheelchair when I pushed her wheelchair over a shallow step. She bruised her face badly. I bought this belt as a security. It works very well and makes her feel more secure. it is not like a car seatbelt . Not that secure and not meant to be. But it is something that gives us peace of mind when we are out.

This was ordered for my mother-in-laws chair when her last one got broken (plastic buckle), I did try some local suppliers but they were charging a fortune, so popped over to Amazon and no problem, Speedy delivery minimal packaging and a steel buckle, easy to fit, Highly recommended.

Dieser Rollstuhlgurt ist leicht anzubringen, leicht zu verwenden, sehr flexibel und dennoch weich um die Bauchmitte. Dies ist fuer meinen Sohn, der eine PEG Sonde hat, besonders wichtig. Auch die Zustellung hat sehr gut und prompt funktioniert.

Laut Beschreibung dient der Gurt als "sanfte Erinnerung, nicht aufzustehen", ist also kein eigentlicher Sicherheitsgurt. Er wird an vorhandenen Schrauben des Rollstuhls durch zwei Befestigungsösen montiert. Bei unserem Exemplar löste sich bereits bei der ersten Benutzung ein Teil des Gurtes, da die Befestigungsöse ohne nennenswerte Krafteinwirkung ausgerissen war. Der Gurt erfüllt also seinen Zweck nicht und ist unsicher.
