Coconut hibiscus bodywash was purchased on a whim on day. I was tired of all of the usual scents and wanted to try something new. This became my favorite! The smell lasts long after getting out of the shower, my skin feels moisturized and it doesn't leave behind any greasy feeling. I have very sensitive skin and breakout easily so I am always skeptical when trying new body products but luckily this one didn't cause any irritation or dry out my skin at all. Showering daily this lasts me about a month or so. That includes using a little extra if I feel like taking a bath and enjoying the scent while using it as a bubble bath as well as a wash. When it comes to value for money it is definitely worth the price.

It smells so good I love it so much

Even though I don't like the scent of this, I am giving it 4 stars and I'll explain why. I initially bought some SoftSoap Hand Soap in Coconut & Hibiscus and fell in love with it. Then I wondered if the company made a companion body wash but discovered they didn't. After searching online, I came upon the Bodycology brand and noticed their Coconut Hibiscus body spray first. I wondered if it smelled anything like the Softsoap Hand Soap?. I wasn't willing to commit to another blind fragrance buy that might turn into a letdown: TOM FORD, you know who you are! Anyhow, I saw their Coconut Hibiscus scent also came in a lotion and body wash. I was more willing to try the body wash than anything else. Unfortunately, it doesn't smell anything like the Softsoap scent. There is one note that I don't like. It smells like pineapple. Don't get me wrong, I love pineapple! I eat pineapple! I don't want to smell like pineapple though. Is that the hibiscus? While I don't like the scent, here are the positives. I love the bottle. Who cares about a bottle, right? I do! You get 16 oz of product. The bottle is tall (9"x 2.5"x1.5") and it's square versus being round. It's easy to hold onto and it fits perfectly on my narrow shower shelf. It has a small press cap on top which is simple to open with one hand. I love this versus having a big cap with a flip-open top. Flip open caps tend to collect product underneath which can be messy. Press caps tops are clean. Because the bottle itself is clear, you can see how much product is in it. No guessing. The flower and coconut design on the bottle is beautiful. The bodywash is a lovely pink colour and it's aesthetically pleasing to look at. The product lathers really well and it doesn't leave scum in the tub. Luckily for me the scent doesn't overpower or stick all day. You can wear perfume and not worry about your body wash competing with it. It was worth a try. I personally would not repurchase this particular scent from Bodycology again. I might try their other body wash scents at some point. I am still happy though because now I have this lovely bottle that I will be putting my Softsoap Coconut & Hibiscus Hand Soap in and using in the shower. Win-Win!
