Recently bought and brought on a girls’ trip to London after seeing it multiple times on BuzzFeed top travel lists. Holy crap, did it come in handy! Barely made it out of security before my friend’s baggage handle broke completely off. She thought she was going to have to lug her carry-on through the whole trip, but I used this item to fashion her a new handle so she could drag the bag behind her and utilize the wheels. It made the trip so much easier for her. Not exactly how I had planned to use the item on the trip, but I’m glad I had it so I could help her out, and it held up the whole trip despite rather rough use through the airports. Overall, great product, looks exactly as shown, very happy I bought it!

I thought this was a bit gimmicky but I fell for it and gave it a try. I was pleasantly surprised! One wears layers when traveling and I usually run hot. However I still need to carry a jacket for the cold planes or destination etc. I usually tie it around my waist (ugly I know) as a last resort or tuck it madly into my bag. I clipped this to my backpack and it held my jacket perfectly! Easily accessible and the jacket never drug or fell. It also worked well to clip my backpack to my luggage while in between flights. I haven’t tried the bag to bag attachment option yet but I don’t see why that wouldn’t work as well. Thank you! This is part of my essential travel items now. My only negative is the buckle is a bit finicky but works fine. You have to push it further into the female end more than normal. Making you think it’s broken at first but it is not.

Perfect for using as another hook on our hiking back pack. We can hold coats, hats, etc. I can easily remove it and put on luggage or a carry on bag. Nice quality and stitching and the clasp is firm so it won't come detached unintentionally.

I shouldn’t expect much for 9 dollars, but I still expected slightly more than what was received. The O-ring is super cheap. Sure, it’s metal, but that doesn’t make it quality. The O-ring’s latch mechanism has a lot of lateral give, which means it doesn’t clasp in place reliably. This makes it very unreliable, so if you’re attaching anything of value to it, be cautious. The strap itself feels adequate, but is not terribly robust. The buckle likewise gets the job done, but I wouldn’t trust it under any significant stress. Just as importantly, the strap is way too short. If you’re hoping to roll up a jacket in the strap, that jacket better be lightweight (e.g. a windbreaker or packable rain jacket). All in all, a disappointment. I wouldn’t buy it again. I should have known better - the cheap options always fall short.

I travel frequently and this has been a surprise must-bring for every trip. I got it as an "eh...maybe it'll come in handy" and it's turned out to be so handy! I normally use it for tethering my waterbottle or jacket/sweatshirt to my backpack or purse, but it's come in handy in many other ways. I've used it snorkeling to double-secure my camera pouch. I even have used it to better secure my hotel room doors when I stayed in a room where the "lock" on my door was more of a suggestion than functional security. It's also been handy for airport bathroom moments when I need to hang things or attach them to my rolling luggage so they don't touch to icky floors. When I'm not traveling it's become a permanent staple in my work backpack, too. The clips are smooth-functioning. The strap is not stretchy FYI but it is adjustable. I got the bright yellow because I knew I'd be using it in the ocean and wanted to be able to spot it immediately.

Worked as advertised. Kept one and gave one to a friend. It's great to be able to secure my jacket to my wheeled suitcase when walking through the airport.
