3rd time of buying this item and this time as a surprise present.

It... really works.
Bought it while on sale so worst case is if we find that it was all just bogus claims, not much harm done. To my surprise, it does work. I don't have a very discerning palate, but I can tell that it opens up the wine. It 110% won't make bad wine taste great, but it'll become drinkable.Inside the box is a booklet that can tell you what happens if you leave the key in a particular type of wine for X seconds. The EN translation should be near the end of the booklet. FYI, I don't think it's a good idea to leave the key submerged past five seconds.Just play with the key and find your wine's flavor profile that makes it enjoyable for you. It's not a must-buy, but it really is an interesting item that the sole downside is the asking price.
