Just as described and fits my KitchenAid Mixer perfectly. Came with no dents or chips and seems to be a very durable quality. It was also easy to clean and large enough to mix three cake batter at the same time.

My husband purchased this for a supplement bowl for my KitchenAid stand mixer as a Christmas gift. We love a bargain, but a bargain is only advantageous if it survives the rest of time. So, is this worth it versus name brand? Pros: Affordable, performs as should , Measure approximately in diameter size to use with my Size of KitchenAid stand mixer. Cons: Much thinner metal material. As well as the bowl seems to get stuck after "screwing" it in place. When making bread dough or utilizing the bowl during longer applications, it can get difficult to remove from the stand. However, my main complaint is the quality of material is lacking. I must pay special attention to hand drying the bowl, especially at the seams and rivets on the handle, as it tends to exhibit "rust" if water collects in those areas. The metal is much thinner than the name brand mixing bowls and is easier to misshape with use and cleaning. The upside I have not noticed any internal pitting or discoloration on the inside of the bowl after consistent baking use of various kinds including acidic and non acidic varieties . i.e breads, cookies, sauces, meringues, pie filling, marinades, meat rubs etc. So, is it still worth the price purchased? In my opinion is not an exact dupe for the original, but with proper care is a great substitute if anyone is in the market for a economically suitable substitute. Happy cooking!
