Cooling Towel Works
I admit to being skeptical about this towel. I had tried something similar a few years ago, and all it really didn't do much in the Florida sun. Technology has gotten better. This towel is long and narrow. It's a good length to drape around the neck or hook on a belt or a backpack. The material feels and looks like microfiber. Therefore, it is lightweight and easy to carry.I soaked it under the faucet, so tepid tap water. I wrung it out as best I could so it wouldn't drip and hung i around my neck as I worked outside in the midday Florida sun. FYI, at this time of year that would be temps in the 80s but not really humid. So not as bad as it will get but by normal standards I think most people would consider it hot. After about 20 minutes the part hanging around my neck felt hot, but the rest of it was very cool and felt good on my face. I took the towel off of my neck for a minute. The part that had been warm turned cool again. This was unexpected and a pleasant surprise. The towel was still wet and cool to the touch after two hours. I hung it to dry, which it did in a few hours. If you have to work outside in the heat, and you want some way to cool your skin quickly if temporarily, and there is no way to do that by getting inside, this is a very good alternative. It is a welcome addition to your arsenal of weapons against heat stroke. Don't forget to drink plenty of water! There is no substitute for that. Just save a little to rewet your towel!

Awesome cooling towel to help with these ridiculously hot summers!
TLDR: Awesome cooling towel to help with these ridiculously hot summers! I just came back from a trip to Atlanta to see the whale sharks at the aquarium! Which btw is a MUST do if you love marine life!! One of the coolest experiences of my life ☺️ well I’m not used to the humidity down there at all and it was horrible. I had packed this towel in my bag months ago and never used it. I pulled this thing out, doused it in cold water, and it helped me cool down for at least an hour or two before it got a bit hot and wasn’t helping as much. The high humidity does keep it from doing as well bc it just holds on to the warmth in the air, but it still helps for awhile at first! If you live in a high humid but breezier climate this would work better, the best would be a hot climate with low humidity! But this helped me enough to get through the day along with my neck fan. Definitely worth the buy if you are as hot natured as I am! 🥵

Can't tell if it's actually cooling or just wet
Despite several uses I still can't tell whether this towel truly gets cold or if it simply stays wet and the cooling effect just comes from the wetness. It doesn't feel any cooler than the water I use to wet it. It does hold moisture for several hours - up to 5 hrs I'd say - so it's effective in that respect. Better than nothing in the blazing heat outdoors. Or if your a/c goes out.

It does cool
This is like a towel or a scarf shape fabric that feels like some kind of microfiber, but has some cooling properties. If you get it wet, wring it out, and place it on your skin, it feels cool to the touch for a little bit. I've found it helpful when being out in the hot sun, to use something like this to keep cool. It does work. It's a nice quality product.

It helps, but works better in low humidity
On hot, humid days, it doesn't cool me off as well as on hot, dry days. So, maybe if you're in a desert, this product is for you.

It sort of works
I have long wanted to try one of these cooling towels, so I jumped at the opportunity to try this one. After using for several weeks, I have to say I'm just not all that impressed. I followed the instructions: hold it under water, ring it out, and then snap it. I didn't notice any cooling when I placed it around my neck--at least not anything cooler than the temperature of the water I held it under. Maybe I got a defecitve one. I don't know. At $80 (!!!), it's just not worth the price.

Works well
I was a little skeptical of this but since I work outside all summer I need to try anything I can to beat the heat. Thankfully this actually works as advertised! It's not 90+ here yet but we've had a few 80 degree days and I was very glad to have this on hand at times. I drape it around my neck and it helps a lot. The first use it felt like the part actually resting on my skin didn't stay cool for that long but when I readjusted it felt cool to the touch again so kind of odd but glad to report that it does stay cool.

Good cool down
When you're roasting in the hot sun, there's really nothing much better than wrapping a cold, wet towel around your neck and wiping your face with one end of it. This Magid towel is great for that. A dip in cold water and it gives you instant relief from the heat and certainly cooled the body temperature. In the mid-80s sun, it's good for maybe an hour. Two, as advertised, would be quite a stretch though. And what does it mean (per instructions) to "snap" the towel? Is it the snap where you pull it apart quickly with both hands, or the snap where you're whipping it at a naked teammate target in the locker room? Since no one got naked around me, I snapped the first way. Perhaps it would have lasted the full two hours if I had walked through a locker room.
