Precleanse - Deep-cleansing Oil, Makeup Remover, Face Wash, Cleans Up Impurities, Excess Sebum, Removes Oils Without Clogging Pores, All Skin Types

I love using this cleanser make skin feel really good and moisturising. It is a quite expensive. But does last long. I do love the quality as it's oil based.

I have had acne since the age of 12 and I am now 41. This is caused by refined sugar and I have quite a sweet tooth. In recent years I noticed that even when I went through phases of cutting out sugar I would still have acne (in the past cutting out sugar would give me completely clear skin) which may be due now to having pre-diabetes which means that there is too much sugar in my system, even without the addition of chocolate. My acne has been improved hugely by drinking 1.5 litres of water a day. I use stayfast/'bulletproof' foundation because of my acne and if a ran a cotton wool pad over my skin after cleansing would find some traces of makeup, but I didn't think too much of it, after all I had cleansed as directed. The cleanser/s I use are multi award-winning and the best-of-the-best (Liz Earle and Elemis to name a couple of them) but it goes to show that, despite all their hype, these cleansers will not remove stayfast makeup on the first pass. A double-cleanse with these cleansers can be very expensive. Since using Precleanse I have noticed a significant improvement in my skin yet again and my acne is much reduced. The pores of my skin appear more refined. It makes my skin a little drier than before but that is to be expected from cleansing twice I should think (making my skin drier has never made any difference to my acne I add). Using Precleanse has demonstrated to me that all traces of makeup do need to be removed at night and the skin does need to be completely clean. There is something very lovely about Precleanse with the plant oils it contains and it smells gorgeous too. It feels very gentle and I suspect more gentle and less drying than a double-cleanse with my usual cleansers. My skin also feels very soft afterwards. Overall this product has made a dramatic difference to my acne and the general tone of my skin and I do now believe that when I get myself off sugar again, by using Precleanse and drinking water, my skin will be completely clear. I really love this product and can only recommend it.

Best product ever. I have very sensitive skin and even quite a few of Dermalogica products are too strong for me but this pre cleanse .... oily liquid ..... but washes away with plain water with ease. I use it a lot as a make up remover. Before I would find it hard to get the last remnants of waterproof mascara off, or eyeliner etc ..... but putting some precleans into my hand and gently smoothing it over my face ..... including eyelashes/eyelids .... then rinse off with a sponge and warm water ..... makeup gone. Very occasionally have needed a second application. With dedicated make up removers it can take several attempts to cleans my face of all traces of makeup. So really love this product and you dont need to use much either .... especially love the fact you just rinse it off, no rubbing with cotton wool pads etc :)

The original and the best pre cleanser. Melts away your make up especially mascara without the need to wipe and irritate your eyes.

I love Dermalogica and this product is no ecxeption to the high quality products in the range. It smells great and does an amazing job of removing makeup before the cleanser. I have to say doing a double cleanse routine with this in it really makes a difference to your skin. I would definitely recommend this. It is is pricey but is a quality product and you will see the difference in the clarity of your skin after using before your cleanser.

Great product leaves your face feeling smooth and clean. Postage prompt, well packed. Unfortunately the pump action doesn't work

I have decided to start using some facial skincare products and one article online recommended this for oily skin, so I thought let's give it a go. Despite pictures being of flip-top - I actually received the pump-top container, which I am very happy about. Some reviews mention it leaking, but not in my case, everything works just great. The product itself - I am very happy with. The first use already makes you feel the difference, and in combination with a good cleanser it does make a big difference on skin appearance and oiliness. Again, as with any skincare products, one persons experience will differ from someone else, everyones skin will accept the product in different ways, so it's hard to judge a product just purely based on reviews. I have somewhat oily, lots of bigger pores, and my face often gets very shiny and oily during the day, a little bit acne prone perhaps and this product in combination with some other (non Dermatologica) products really does help my skin control sebum secretion and have a better texture. I'm really happy with it and I hope it does make someone else feel better if this product works for them :)
