My coworker introduced me to these fans and they work as advertise. I was skeptical at first but bought a set to try them out. This summer I've used them at public parks, at a relative's lake house, my backyard parties, and no flies in sight. These fans do extend, however, you may need to prop them up on a small box or container to get the blades high enough over the food. It comes with a little screwdriver to remove the blades when not in use (Read the instructions). I'm so impressed I purchased another set and have 6 fans total to use. These were so popular my family/friends asked me where I purchased them. On a side note, these fans are meant for flies and WILL NOT deter nuisance bees like yellow jackets/hornets/wasps. They stay in place well during light gusts of wind and are not waterproof. The only cons I can think of is the battery compartment door doesn't line up well and may not hold up over time. Don't think they'll survive being dropped on hard surfaces either.

These are amazing, I place them right over plates of food being served outside and they effectively "swat" the flies away before they have a chance to land. They are silent and perfectly safe if you accidentally put your hand in one reaching for a snack

I saw these at a resort one time and got them for a gift and they are great! The battery life is good you can set them on the table or hang them and they work wonders! They are easy to figure out it was gifted to someone not so tech savvy and they were able to figure out no problem. The size and speed are great they are not huge like the hotel these are for back yard or bbq uses def love something was designed to keep the bugs out of food and stuff! Do what they were made to do and def recommend make a unique gift for outdoor grillers and chillers 🤣

These are great quality and durable. We use in a restaurant on outdoor tables to keep the flies away. They don’t make any noise, very easy to assemble and work very well
