It is helping my blood glucose, but shouldn't be taken by pregnant or nursing women.
I originally ordered this tea because I heard it could help lower, or maintain good blood glucose levels (among other things). I also read that Cerasee tea is rich in Vitamin A, C, phosphorous, and alkaloids, so I figured I'd try it because even if it didn't help my blood glucose, it would be nutritious. I am a type 2 diabetic and I no longer have to take medication because I maintain a strict, clean keto diet, but I want to make sure as I age that my readings continue to be good. The morning blood glucose reading is usually my only bad reading (Dawn Effect), and the tea seems to be keeping that down. I drink a cup of tea in the morning, and a cup of tea in the evening to help maintain my blood glucose levels, and lower the morning reading. The tea has a nice flavor with a slight bitterness to it, but once you get used to it, it is very enjoyable. I sweeten mine a bit with organic stevia. I have been drinking it now for 5 weeks. If you are a diabetic whose blood glucose drops frequently, I'd use caution till you see what it does for you just to be on the safe side. My husband drinks it and enjoys it too, for some of it's other health benefits which you can Google.

Cerasee Tea bag
Very bitter just like the fresh pulled ones I got as a child. I use along with guava leaf as a morning tea with cinnamon. No sugar needed it’s great to maintain good immunity and blood pressure control.

For me the fact that it is available for purchase.
This is beneficial, when I was growing up drinking Cerasee as a regular morning beverage, I remember my parent would use a full pot with the Cerasee vines boils down into a couple of cups. The idea was to get the full power. These bags are not as bitter, but still pack with the flavor. The bags are a tenth of what we used for the full strength, so I am pleased with these.

Strong, bitter, soothing, wonderful tea
If you like bitter tea, you will LOVE this tea! When you are sick, it is a Godsend. It is extremely soothing for a sore throat and itchy uvula (the soft palate), and it readily boosts the effectiveness of whichever oral decongestant you choose. It is a strong tea, but to be sure, I use 2 tea bags at a time, ensuring a strong and bitter brew. I drink it straight, and I love it. I plan to try it with herbs from my yard, including my mints, echinacea, various edible flowers, wild herbs, and possibly xylitol, and to make it a daily drink. I bought cerasee and soursop tea from Shavuot Farms out of curiosity, having known about bitter melon (cerasee) for years, and interested in the medicinal properties of both cerasee and soursop. I intend to reorder it. Shavuot Farms is a company based in Jamaica which produces high quality, specialty crops for local and international markets. I wish them great success.

Better for your health
My grandmother used to give us this as a child (pre-teen), I hated it then because of the bitterness. She would boil the actual leaves. YUK-no sugar. Now that i am much older, I remember it, and realized the benefits of it. I drink 2 cups per day now instead of coffee, and add a teaspoon of sugar. I will continue to drink at least a cup every day from now on until death.
