I have a 3 and 7 year old in gymnastics and we have bars but they couldn't practice well without a pad, this one has helped them build confidence in raising up to the bar and flipping.

Our kids love flipping on our at-home gymnastics bar, but when they perform a flip on the bar, they will sometimes complain that the bar hurts their pelvis. This padding was recommended to us by a gymnastics trainer and I am very happy I got it! This fits perfectly on the bar and it's so easy to take off and on that the kids can do it themselves. It is about 1 1/2" thick and has very thick stitching, so I am confident it will handle the constant use. So far we are very happy with it!

This is a great pad for young kids. It rolls well without getting stuck or hard to roll and is nice and thick, holding its shape, while being used. The only issue I have with this is that when it’s being used and where the Velcro meets the seam to be closed, this pad slips in that crack and losing the padding in that area. As well as it being harder to spin and prevent the bar from going into that gap. This is very easy and simple to take off and on and does stay Velcro as expected and holds well. This wipes clean easily. I do like this item but have used slightly better ones before. I took away 1 star due to the gapping issue while being used.
