I got this for my little dog who loves to ride in my lap. I know it’s not safe for him to do so, that’s why I bought this seat. It has metal braces you have to push down on the sides, that was hard to do. I broke two nails and bent one back trying to do so. But I finally got it done. Be careful because if you hold it down on the bottom of the brace it will pinch your fingers between the brace and seat. It’s tight! It was easy to install on the middle console of my truck. I think it’s worth the money I paid for it as it gives me peace of mind that my pup is secure. He can stand on the edge and see out the window. This is a very nice looking car seat. I like that it has the little strap to buckle your pup in if they have a harness. I currently do not have one for him, but I’m going to definitely get him one for the added security!

The BurgeonNest Cat Car Seat is exactly what I needed for traveling with my cat. It’s well-padded, secure, and fits easily in the car seat. My cat settles down in it, which has never happened with regular carriers. The safety straps keep it in place, and I like that it’s roomy enough for her to lie down but still feels cozy.

Product is good. I have a 4lb chihuahua so it’s a good size. However, I wish the front folded down so she can see out while she lays down. She keeps wanting to sit up to see. It is sturdy. Kind of uncomfortable with it there. Seems crowded when driving. I bought it because when it is just us two in the car she sometimes cries in the backseat one. But I feel she likes the one in back because she can lay down and still see out since it has a cut out in the front for her to rest her head on.

We love this pet car seat. We have a Honda Pilot with a pretty wide center (11") console. Our older dog recently passed away, leaving our 10-pound chihuahua mix alone in the backseat. He's a bit of a nervous nilly anyway and doesn't settle down quickly. We're planning a cross-country trip and thought this would be a good addition for our journey. The seat is basically a box. The interior is a little hard, it comes with a pee liner and a "fluffy" liner for the bottom. I plan to put a small blanket in to make it comfier. It was easy to set up. A little more challenging to secure. It comes with 3 exterior straps and 2 straps underneath to secure to the console top. There are multiple attachment points on the seat. For 2 straps I fed through the driver and passenger seats where the back meets the seat and hooked the strap to itself. For the third strap, I connected it to the back of the car seat and then to the passenger side head rest posts. Each strap can be tightened so the car seat doesn't move. There's an interior tether to secure to your pet's harness, so they don't go flying through the windshield if in an accident. There are straps to carry the seat, but we don't plan to do that...as I said it was a bit of a challenge to secure. You can still access the console with the seat installed. I'm happy with this purchase and recommend for a larger vehicle console. Be sure to measure your console and pet.

I have a Nissan Rogue Sport and this actually doesn't fit between the two front seats all that well. It does fit enough so that I can use it as I have a small Chiweenie that weighs about 8 pounds. My dog absolutely LOVES it. She can finally see what is going on as we travel and she is very attentive to everything she sees. Setting it up with the frame and pillows was fairly easy. The hard part was getting the security straps around the headrest poles. I did eventually get it, but it wasn't that easy for me. There is not much room to work in and the straps didn't quite reach the first time. I found it easier to climb into the back seat and work from back there until I got the straps the right length. I ordered the most narrow carrier, I believe it is 7 inches wide, and I actually could have used something closer to 6 inches. The scrunch kind of bows up the pillow so that it doesn't sit properly, but once I put the dog in, her weight gets it back in the right place. I would recommend that you measure the space between the seats at its most narrow place right above the center console. If you have 6 inches or less, this may not be the right product for you. I still love it and I don't regret buying it even if it is a little tight on the fitting. My dog enjoys the ride now and can sit still while watching all the activity around us. I used to worry that she would fall out of the car seat that I had before because she was always jumping up trying to see out the window. I highly recommend these console carriers because it also puts them a little more out of the direct line of fire on the airbags; it won't be a direct hit now and I like that.

Love this car seat. So does my dog he has not got out of it since I pulled it out of the box. It is made well and has plenty of room for my dog to be comfortable.

This item came broken and had a long shipping time. I am returning but that’s also been a hassle. Wouldn’t recommend
